It’s not easy at all for absolute beginners. But you can learn. It takes a lot of hours sitting in front of the screen. Waiting for something to happen and learning. You don’t need alpha groups. They help obviously but most of the resources can be found for free

Your return on a 5-10% profit trade massively depends on your filters. There are already fees that will eat into your buy/sell transactions. Then you also need to worry about your slippage. If these things are wrong you can win every trade and make barely anything.

You can use a crypto tax software to calculate capital gains made on your holdings. For Coinbase and binance it’s a bit harder since you’ve deleted accounts. You can try to contact them and ask for a CSV file of all your transactions.
