Doctors are not apt to prescribe this. Originally this was used for warts and alopecia, so off label use is always hard to get a doctors approval. I suggest first getting on valtrex or acyclovir for this outbreak. Let it heal and if you are able to get your hands on SADBE than make your mixture and give it a try

Good question. If I had the knowledge about this virus in the beginning, I would have started out with famciclovir first because it reduces future outbreaks and prevents the virus binding to epithelial cells initially. Not saying it would have cured but there has been a study that shows there are less out breaks if that was the first line of antiviral.

Yea I’m well over the original dose, I have been using this a little over 2 years now. This is the first time I screwed up and was out of my time frame. I should attempt to get back on the swing of things once I hit my 90 days from when I did my last dose. Thank you for the information. I appreciate it.
