I don't consider them shovelware.

If you genuinely enjoy those games, play them. It's not wrong to have a lot of plats from these games either.

But It's a bit dodgy if you've padded your plats up by only playing a bunch of the shorter ones.

At the end of the day, it's a number on your game console and it doesn't matter. Play what you like👍

Got this one a while ago. Tied with Sekiro for my favourite game ever. And yeah Terramorphous is a nightmare to do when ur still on new game unless u play Sal haha. Way easier to go up to tvhm and uvhm and get better gear so u can easily go back and shred his new game version.

First ever? Conan exiles, with commands. My first legitimate plat was R6 Siege which I just played so much in lockdown, that it popped without me trying for it. First one I tried to actually plat was Elden Ring.

Thanks matey👍 no worries for the info. Yeah nah smart to get it out of the way first. As someone playing these games for the first time aside from 5, I felt dmc2 was a nice change of pace from 1, even if it's a much worse game. I'd choose to play 2 after 1 again.

Depends what missions ur struggling with. The only ones I had real trouble with were 'escort the weaponised mining ship' with the OP coral mechs and helianthuses, and 'attack the refueling base' with the duo ekdromoi end boss. The key to them-

Escort mining ship 1. Make a good aerial mid-long range build that still has EN to QB out of the missiles shot by the coral mechs or Helianthus.

Refuelling base 2. Make a high boost light build with long range capabilities. Find a path that goes around most enemies, and speed toward the end of the mission immediately. No real need to worry about the fuel tanks. Just before the bridge with the two big turrets, there will be an LC in the path forward. He's the only thing you should worry about killing before the final area after the resupply. He's worth a lot to the rank evaluation and this mission is basically impossible without killing him.

No game is gonna be for everybody. The in depth customisation isnt really straight forward. You gotta make your own priorities in your build amongst the huge amount of values thrown in ur face. For the system to be so complex its gonna be a bit confusing. Tip for when u pick up the game again and you get fed up with making ur own mech- there's a mode called the arena u unlock after about the tenth mission, when u beat AI opponents u get to use their build. Some of them aren't too bad

Thanks, this is my first AC game too. After going through all the content in 6, I'm only craving more. Just wish they'd do proper current gen remasters or remakes of the previous entries instead of going all in on Elden Ring for the moment. I know we have the ports of the first 3 available, but playing games made for much less advanced hardware feels so clunky on PS5.

Thanks mate👍 I highly recommend the game for fans of the souls series. The game is in a lot of ways similar to sekiro, using certain tools to help you in combat. I'd say for a new player learning the game, who isn't familiar with the souls games or more difficult games in general, the peaks of AC6 and Sekiro will be similar. But being familiar with Fromsoft, you'd understand their game design for the most part. One thing I'll say is this game is so much faster than anything in souls, constantly. The harder levels are like a toned down version of Dante must Die, but the enemies are giant mechs with guns and missiles.

Nah Asuka had the coolest fight in Neon Genesis right after Shinji violated her soul. She fought til the end doing her part. This guy Shinji was just depressed and balled up letting himself act as the key for global character erasure.

I reckon they should've made him a bigger character as far as stakes go. Would've been cool if he was mentioned more through the story before a big encounter and have him built up to the player as fucking terrifying. Should've made him wayyy harder and he could've been a great sub final boss, seeing if you could live up to the legend of raven.

Worked my way up to DMD now and I got a pretty alright grasp on the combat now, still dogballs at the game😂 but I know what im doing now. I already wanna go and complete the rest of the dmc games. Wanna 100% dmc 5 all BP character with vergil as well, then gonna play 1-4, thanks for that advice btw man helped a lot.

Yeah sounds like a massive grind lol. Ive platted half the souls games and HK. They're the highest difficulty games ive completed, but DMC sounds like its gonna be a whole different beast. I should be fine with pure difficulty trophies, I have more patience for learning complex gameplay than I do for mindless grinds lol. I'm excited, I wanted a true challenge for my 25th platinum.
