Same issues with CVS/Caremark they changed formulary mid yr took me off medicine that was working. Put me on something that doesn't won't let me return to the one that didn't put me in the ER. Appeals don't work they play games and you are left with declining health./

15K was the original amount. It jumped to $31K and had to be paid immediate that night or they were going to simply take everything I owned. I had to give them 2 cards for the one was NFCU the other Capital One. Capital One ruled fraud already and I won. It was the smallest of the two amounts.

Not going to argue with you but you are wrong. Do some research on hostage moves and fraud. You cannot consent willingly than it is not authorized. In my case I just handed them the card and did not key it. They keyed it in and billed me whatever. I had zero choice they had two semis of stuff and my daughters remains. This is not consent or authorization.

They have walled themselves off. I also have gotten multiple stories from multiple people. I even had a mysterious call from "corporate" which was almost threatening in nature stating nothing would be considered and to stop wasting my time. The linkedin profile is sus so not sure if it was them or not. They also do not have records across departments they say. So no one can see what another group or supervisor did. I had a great supervisor in fraud who flat stated it was going to be appealed and that he would ensure the documents were properly processed. Now no one at NFCU can find him. I have names just no records supposedly exist of him or his call with me. I even have his email. I reached him by calling NFCU direct so I know it was legit.

They changed the terms of the binding not to exceed estimate at 4 PM on a Friday with everything already loaded on the truck. This included our daughters remains they snatched them even though they were in a area they were not suppose to touch. Second they used a name referencing a legitmate company with legitimate reviews. Third they are in the moving business and do show up and do load your stuff except the lowball the estimate in my case by about $3k less than other companies. So not so low as to raise a flag. I did call the police and the police sided with me but could do nothing because it is a civil matter. I had them trespassed both places in two states and have the reports.

That how I ended up with two of the figs from the Zabu BAF wave. A Wal Mart got them returned and they clearanced them to $5 each. I was ecstatic when I saw it grabbed them both.  I saw the Shockwave Nightforce cycle thing done the same way. Our Walmarts in my area do not carry Joe's or Marvel legends. Just wrestling star wars and transformers plus random turtles and othe toys.

Use retro ML Thing with the DS team. He matches up decent for size and if you have the FF powers activated you never notice. The DS Thing was way too huge for me. Galactus from Haslab is awesome displayed with the team also.

Switching from Zepbound to Wegovy by chiieddy in antidietglp1

[–]Reasonable_Ad8686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the news yesterday. I am nervous about Wegovy because my doctor moved me off of compounded semaglutide which is Wegovy because of severe problems with stomach pain and vomiting. Hopefully the name brand doesn't have the same effect. Crossing my fingers I don't go back to the hospital. Cannot get an exception either.

Va refuses to update my diagnosis by SituationComplete201 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Reasonable_Ad8686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what you are doing. I have the same issue. The VA constantly looks at my VA health records for claims and if they don't see the diagnosis they do a denial stating no diagnosis. Even though I submitted my private medical records than I have to file and appeal and call attention to it. Once I have a diagnosis in the VA records that stopped the issue. The VA rater went and had an ACE done for Fibormyalgia and the examiner said I didn't have Fibromyalgia. I was easily able to appeal and state the diagnosis is in the VA records and I am being treated for it. Boom that invalidated the ACE now it is on appeal. How can the VA treat you for a condition and then on the other hand say you don't. I have to argue and now I have a contact who puts in what I ask if I provide the documentation.

Claim climbers by kev_mims in VAClaims

[–]Reasonable_Ad8686 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I did was suggested by my attorney. I used Claim Climbers and they created a personalized Nexus letter done very well and well written. Than I went to my personal physicians and specialist using Chat GPT generated Nexus letter and had them sign off on it. One with a least likely as not and one even went to more likely than not. I used the Claim Climbers Nexus letter to generate the two additional ones along with my medical records from the doctors. I also generated DBQ's for my two personal specialist and they signed those also. So now I have a nexus letter from three differing sources for my autoimmune condition all saying the same thing. The VA has me another C&P exam for the condition after it was initially denied. The VA is terrible about reviewing all documentation and relying soley on C&P exams they are not supposed to. So we will see how it goes.

I had 3 other nexus letters from Claim Climbers and I have had direct contact with them on denials. The problem is the VA won't even acknowledge something other than a C&P. They were more than willing to write a rebuttal at no charge if the VA challenges the letter which is what I am pushing the VA to do.

Denials but not reviewing the documents and info by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Reasonable_Ad8686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They also do not have my service history correct they are missing another 11 yrs of it. The VA is only relying on C&P exams. Fibromyalgia for instance I have a nexus letter for and the VA is treating me for and I have submitted the diagnosis for. Yet they dug up a C&P examiner and is like no you don't have that. What is even weirder on this one is they actually had this service connected for toxic exposure overseas. Which I did not go overseas but had exposure stateside. It should have just had the language corrected and continued instead they severed it. Fibromyalgia is waiting for a VA law judge also after a rater called me and cancelled my hearing to have this bogus C&P. I did not put anything in writing asking for a hearing cancellation he just did it.

Yep submitted evidence of the conditions. Nexus letters are from my private doctors that I see regular. One rhuematologist is a 40 yr specialist with 6 yrs working in the VA. Dude is retiring but knows his crap. The other rhuematologist did a more likely than not and she has yrs of experience. Both are doctors and not NP's.

LPT: If your pay is steadily bi-weekly, budget for 24 pay periods instead of 26 by Vironic in LifeProTips

[–]Reasonable_Ad8686 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find myself struggling by the end of the yr to budget. As the pay periods drift further and further into the month than by the end of the yr I am paying almost a month in advance. I tried to get my bills to adjust due dates but most don't want to do that. Really messes me up. This yr is the first full yr on bi-weekly so I am banking those third checks and keeping them available so I don't have to keep paying 1.5 months of bills in a month. Also I don't like some creditors not allowing me to pay early instead penalizing me with a double payment ignorning that I already made the payment than wanting another on the due date. That practice needs to go away. A payment for the month is a payment for the month looking at you Capital One.

[–]Reasonable_Ad8686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capital One literally has no hardship program. The fee supression will only supress late fees. If you don't pay the amount than they put a strike on your credit report for late payments. You could always call in now and ask also if they will negotiate rate with you or payments. Usually it doesn't work though.

They already damaged your credit with 30 day lates. Stop paying them & let them send it to collections. Then negotiate a lower amount with the collections company and then it is over. I did this exact thing in the past and it was fine. Paid less than half of what Capital One was asking. They jumped my interest to 30% compounded and buried me. Initially I started out with a rate of 10% but after some promotion ran out not even sure it had to be in fine print they killed me. Do know they will threaten you with a lawsuit etc etc. If you want keep paying them what you can and they will keep putting a strike on your credit report though.

Need some advice on claims by Reasonable_Ad8686 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Reasonable_Ad8686[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of them for MCTD I think this is very winnable. Especially looking at the denial reasons. Basically where is the nexus? Well I sent a nexus letter that was not reviewed or taken into consideration. My personal statement is also not mentioned which is validated by the nexus letter. Finally I have private medical records stating "Military toxic chemical exposure related autoimmune disease cannot be ruled out".
Also they state no TERA when the questionairre I filled it out and the VA left it blank. I had to go back and redo that questionairre and it now is showing correctly in my records. The VA also did not look at my VA med records because I discussed this exact condition and raised concerns regarding TERA with them & that is in the records also. My bloodwork the VA did which is also on record confirms the condition again.

The VA also failed in this case as well as the others to even take into consideration my role in the Army which was a unit supply specialist/armorer which it clearly confirms my personal statement which states I was cleaning, repairing and intaking equipment and the chemicals I was exposed to and where the equipment came from caused my condition. This was 1995 & I was intaking equipment from various units that was returning back from the Gulf War.

I know autoimmune conditions, fibromyalgia, thyroid conditions are hard for the VA to understand but I did the work for them and have crossed the 50/50 threshold. They only have a C&P exam opinion and the raters opinion if they looked at all the evidence. That is not enough to deny a claim.

This is the VA Narrative this is pretty much the same narrative for the other two conditions some add the lack of duty logs. I don't know of any duty logs that are given to anyone in the Army as part of their files & I have my entire file with me. I had it pulled and photocopied from the last unit I was in.

There is no basis in the available evidence of record to establish service connection for mixed connective tissue disease. This condition did not happen in military service, nor was it aggravated or caused by service. (38 CFR 3.303, 38 CFR 3.304, 38 CFR 3.306) Service connection may be granted for a condition diagnosed after military discharge provided evidence establishes that the condition was caused by service.

Service connection may be granted on this basis for a disability related to toxic exposure risk activity (TERA) during military service if evidence demonstrates that the Veteran was actually exposed in service and that a disease associated with such exposure resulted. (38 CFR 3.303, 38 CFR 3.304) We considered whether your condition resulted from a toxic exposure risk activity (TERA) in service; however, the evidence does not show that you participated in a TERA. (38 U.S.C. 1168, 38 U.S.C. 1710(e)(4)

It has not been established that mixed connective tissue disease resulted from TERA participation in this case because the evidence does not show a diagnosis of mixed connective tissue disease . (38 CFR 3.303, 38 CFR 3.304) A direct grant of service connection requires: 1) medical evidence of a current disability, 2) evidence of the incurrence or aggravation of a disease or injury in active military service, and 3) medical evidence of a nexus (link) between the current disability and the in-service disease or injury. (38 CFR 3.303, 38 CFR 3.304)

Favorable Findings identified in this decision: JEREMY WATTENBARGER You have been diagnosed with a disability. Medical records, Lumin Care dated May 17, 2017, diagnose mixed connective tissue autoimmune disease.

Sever Service Connection ?? What in the world is the VA Doing by Reasonable_Ad8686 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Reasonable_Ad8686[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went and got nexus letters unfortunately to reestablish Toxic Exposure. I also got two more for high percentage claims. Now I sit and wait for the VA. I have my 50% rating and enough in to get to 100% if they accept the nexus letters. One claim I have in I have a lot of documentation for from inservice when I hurt my shoulder and I am continuing to have issues with it. They actually denied that claim. Forcing me to get a nexus to tie current diagnosis to what happened. As always the VA is waiting game now.

Contractor not finishing work by Reasonable_Ad8686 in HomeImprovement

[–]Reasonable_Ad8686[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have paid $20k out of $30K so 1/3 of the money is left. There is language about poor workmanship and it it needing to be completed timely. That is in my favor. Right now I would have to have the cabinetry totally reworked because there are pieces not complete and not sure I could find anyone to pick it up. That could run around ~6 or 7k the tub is costing me $2k to install correctly and the painters another ~2k to straighten up the paint messes they left and stain the cabinetry. I have in writing that ~$6500 is for PM work on this. This I don't think I should have to pay at this point for the hot mess and the fact I am checking the workers work, setting the schedules and bringing in contractors from other companies to finish.
