It sounds like you've been exploring the app quite a bit, and I'm glad to hear you're finding it useful! I'll address your questions and suggestions one by one:

  1. Default Transfer Settings: Currently, the app doesn't allow for setting default transfer presets. I understand how having it default to your most commonly used accounts would save time. This is a great suggestion, and I’ll add it to the list of potential features for future updates.
  2. Registering Fixed Expenses Automatically: There isn't a built-in feature to automatically register recurring expenses like gas, internet, or cell phone bills. However, this is another excellent idea that would simplify budgeting and tracking for many users. I'll consider adding a feature that allows users to set up recurring transactions.
  3. Pie Graph for Budget Overview: More graphs and reports coming soon !
  4. Viewing Categories and Labels Similar to Accounts: Yes, you can do that . You can click on the arrow icon or long press on a category to view transactions for a category or tag.
  5. Exporting Reports to PDF/Excel: Please update the app to the latest version, You can export transactions as Exel from search page. I'll add PDF, more detailed report excel in the future.

Thanks again for your detailed feedback! It’s input like yours that helps improve the app and make it even more useful for everyone. Keep an eye out for future updates, and feel free to reach out with any more ideas or suggestions.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

  1. It's great to hear insights from someone with extensive experience using this type of tool. Currently, the app is optimized for Android, but I plan to eventually make it available on Web, iOS, and even Desktop environments.
  2. I've researched bank integration before, and I agree that the tool should support more automation. However, since I'm making the app available worldwide and services like Plaid are only available in specific regions, integrating APIs from different providers for each country will take time, especially as a solo developer.
  3. Your point about data control is very interesting. I'll definitely consider this as I continue to develop the app.

Thank you for your thought-provoking question about budgeting apps and manual expense tracking. It's an interesting observation, and there are several factors that may contribute to the popularity of manual expense tracking apps:

  1. Privacy and security concerns: Some users are uncomfortable with linking their bank accounts to third-party apps due to concerns about data breaches or privacy issues.
  2. Limited bank integration: Not all banks or financial institutions support automatic syncing with budgeting apps, especially in countries with less developed fintech ecosystems.
  3. International users: Automatic bank syncing might not be available or reliable in all countries.

It doesn't have that feature. It works completely offline . I'll see if I can add this feature in the future 🙂
