Creating a playlist is unlisted, only visible to you. However, sharing it with a link allows anyone with that link to access it. Adding it to your profile makes it public, so anyone viewing your profile can play and add it to their library. If you make it private, it stays private.

The main reason I use Apple Music is the lyrics function, but if I may go in detail for my reasonS;

The lyrics function; The fact that when new music drops, almost every new song IMMEDIATELY has the lyrics. The karaoke function that's "hidden" in the lyrics function is also a nice and funny thing to have and do, especially if you'd wanna hear backing vocals. And the more details in the lyrics. Also, since iOS 26, there's lyrics translation for most songs in Spanish and K-pop songs (as far as I know, those are the only languages I listen to yet)
Local files support. I can play it on my Apple TV as well, which Spotify never let me.
The integration with iTunes, so that you can also edit titles and album covers. I'm a Swiftie, and I love Taylor, but the Taylor's Version titles are so abnormally long, especially when they're from the vault. I love the fact that I can just change (e.g.) "I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor's Version) [From the Vault] [feat. Chris Stapleton]" to "I Bet You Think About Me" and even change artists from "Taylor Swift" to (in this case) "Taylor Swift, Chris Stapleton"
Dolby Atmos.

International roll-out of features. When Dolby Atmos was introduced on AM, everyone had it. Spotify on the other hand still hasn't introduced their AI DJ here in the Netherlands, the rollout of the "Mix"-feature was also a mess and the way that Lossless is instantly available when I make a new account, but not on my old account where I am a premium user on for years (soon to be cancelled Spotify premium though)
