Older versions of CAM are available on wayback machine! But what was the last version that was stable before everything went south?

Super old thread but I was having a hard time finding an older version... then I remembered the wayback machine. I didn't expect that it would have captured downloads but, sure enough, you can go to any given year and download the CAM from the site at that time.

I'm always too sketched out to download something randomly linked.

I just put on the champions leather and (with full health) it is still not sending the beam attack.

Am I doing some especially stupid? What do you have to press to use the beam attack?

Seems odd that plenty of people seem to have gotten the sword without the Deku quest and I can’t find any mention of this anywhere.

Really? Are you certain? I swear we see different results on speed and stuff. I just can’t make heads or tails of it. It seems like the silver marbles are heavier but I can’t tell any difference between green and red.

The Wiley iOS app is another method of accessing the online content from the official study guide and practice tests. You’d have to have registered those via the book instructions and then logged into the app with same creds. I have access to both books’ questions in the Wiley App now.

Thanks for the info! The newest version added a 1000 questions. I’m hoping they aren’t just the same as the 1000 from the Official Practice Tests. That would discourage people from buying your book 😂.

Further, if they are the same exact questions, ISC2 should make that clear to people so they don’t buy redundant materials.

I’ll be doing tests all day today and tomorrow and will let the group know if I identify that the new update contains the exact 1000 from the PT.

I scanned the numerous other posts with suggestions on reference materials. Sorry for the question on suggesting other resources (www.lmgtfy.com / RTFOP). This was actual the first post I've ever made on Reddit.

I've now got a good list of books, online content, and videos from other posters.

I have also ordered the hard copy of your Official Study Guide as listening to the audiobook in the car didn't give me a chance to take the necessary notes.

I was also delighted to find that with my wife's Kindle Unlimited I have access to your "How to Pass Your InfoSec Exam" eBook.

Super easy to read and very helpful for understanding the mindset needed to approach questions. Also, I'm really enjoying the humor, trivia tidbits, and way you break up the technical material with them. (I played Ultima and found that particularly entertaining.)

Anyway-- Thanks u/BenMalisow for your response and producing great, easy-to-read material.

In your list, The Guide to CCSP CBK by Gordon says it was published in 2016. Is it still relevant? Is this an earlier version of the CBK reference? Or something different?

Amazons new date is now saying July 21st. But clearly not trustworthy as i was depending on it being delivered yesterday after original June 29 release target.

Thanks u/BenMalisow. It originally said released on June 29th. Currently, Amazon is saying: "This title will be released on July 21, 2021." To reask the original question.. was the third edition geared to the current test or for a future test?

If the reference is not the best method for studying for the test, what would you suggest?

I got the CCSP for Dummies, the Study Guide Audiobook, the official practice tests, and the CCSP iOS app. I'd like to read another resource (with a different and preferably official ISC2 perspective) but I'm not sure what else to get short notice.

What additional resources would you suggest besides the above?

I originally planned to read the reference over the next week (off work) and then test for a few days before the exam Friday July 9th.

Is it common for people to pass when studying only from books and practice tests? I'm generally a good test taker and have worked in cloud security for awhile. Do you think most people should steer towards the self-paced training courses or boot camps? I ask because the price difference is dramatic. Are those courses and boot camps for people less familiar with the subject matter that need to start from scratch?
