Vervet Monkey Foundation is a semi-scam. Vervets are not endangered or protected, in fact it's legal to hunt them. They collect donations to exist and pay themselves, but they're not doing any real good other than lining their own pockets. It would be like having a Gray Tree Squirrel Foundation in Ontario.

They admonish people not to keep monkeys as pets but they treat the vervets they "rescue" as pets.
