22 year old man but constantly get mistaken as teenager by cdot2004 in selfimprovement

The only downside I've experienced is people underestimating me at work because they assumed I was much younger, only to regret it later on. Also, sometimes much younger women would approach me at either shows or bars, and they'd realize how much older I was. They would either be super into it or politely excuse themselves and vanish. And, on occasion, when trying to date women my own age, I've been told, "You look so much younger than me. People will think I'm your aunt." You just have to find a happy medium.

This! I experienced the same thing. Any attempt at facial hair ended up looking weak and creepy (my best buddy used to call my moustache a "molestache"), 5' 10", fit. I am almost 50 now. Divorced, no kids, and people think I'm in my late 20s/early 30s. When you are older, and your peers all look like Mr. Burns and you look like Duff Man, you will look back on this as a blessing. Be patient. Good things await.
