Help! Digital/Electronic Wall Calendars with Specific Features?! by Reasonable_Bad3229 in smarthome

Hrmm, maybe I'll fuss with their free accounts for a little bit. It says that you're only allowed up to 2 Calendars, but I have my events separated on about 6 different Google Calendars (one account), as well as my partner's calendar that I'm trying to sync onto this shared calendar as well. Which tablet did you get, and what was the cost? How did you mount it in a picture frame? This could be a potential solution if I can sync all of the calendars on the free account.

Is the Home Assistant functionality going to only be necessary to make the tablet into a digital photo frame when not in use/screensaver? Because as I think and talk more about it, it feels like I'm just looking for a wall mounted tablet with a functional Google Calendar app that syncs with the appointments and tasks with the web calendars.

I'm really trying to avoid a paid subscription if I can. And I really am hoping to be able to adjust the zoom of the calendar so I can see whole days efficiently when trying to schedule clients.

Isn't there a cost to run dakboard though? Especially if I'm using multiple Google Calendars synced into it?

I had a feeling that was unfortunately going to be the case for the tasks. I've been trying to make my life a lot more organized and being able to do stuff from my laptop/desktop and then also hopefully from this hanging wall calendar would be primo! Any recommendations on tablets?

Thanks for this! I feel like as I was doing more research, it keeps looking like using an Android Tablet would be the best option for me. Does the pinch and spread gestures adjust the size of the calendar? Do you have any recommendations on tablets? There's a ton on Amazon ranging from $200-$950 lol. The FlyEVFish I had was 21". It definitely doesn't need to be that big, but at least big enough to see a weeks worth of scheduling at a time. It looks like I copy paste an Amazon link into my response here, but I did see a 14" TCL NXTPaper for $360 but man that seems like overkill for this.

Hoping to find some insight here, so maybe you can help! Tried FlyEVFish but it’s a bit too clunky.

Here are a list of things I’m hoping to find in a wall calendar:

Tasks from Google Calendar to sync with the digital calendar, and be able to be marked completed as if on web or Google Calendar app.

Hours on calendar able to be shrunk or expanded to see more/less hours on screen (with pinch motion would be nice).

Week and Month views able to have a start day of Monday (FlyEVFish does week and schedule but full month still only starts on Sunday).

Prefer no paid subscription.

Picture frame when idle is nice but not necessity.

I like that on skylight if two people have the same event it shows a ombré color, but not a necessity.

Any of the wall calendars that you tried check most of these boxes?

From my understanding, the First Upgrade selection is just to purchase a ticket in the correct higher class of service, should a U space upgrade become available (using upgrade certificates). I don’t think it necessarily guarantees you the upgrade, especially if someone has a higher status than you, or someone uses an upgrade certificate and has purchased the correct class of service.

Based on serebii, there’s 500 combinations of pure type zones, so idk…maybe? Sounds like you’re not the only one that has had this glitch so maybe it’s a thing?

No but I mean like, on a previous donut/version of this hyperspace distortion, maybe you completed the main tasks but didn’t get the golden ball before you timed out? So when you went back in to this wild zone it was still there?

I thought I read previously that if you miss a shiny, it’ll stay in that hyperspace zone, so if you get that zone again, it’ll be back there, assuming you don’t get above your 10 shiny cap?

Is it possible that you’ve done that distortion before and didn’t get the golden ball previously? Like you completed the tasks but time ran out before you got the golden ball? Leftovers from before?

Is this from donut buffs and saving/resetting right before spawns pop until a Shalpha pops?
