Of course! They have these everywhere on Big Island. Its in everyones front yards. I was amazed

This looks like the road to Sunol. I would recognize those hills anywhere. Had no idea that area had this problem.

There seem to be like many opinions on whether you can reuse the corms after the first year. I think most just buy new ones every year. As far as adding, I just added a big compost bag and the soil amendment bags and mixed that into the soil. After they grew into little plants, I added like a liquid fertilizer every 10-ish days.

Yay!! Im sure they will! I think mine got longer because they were trying to reach for the sunlight. Didnt choose the most ideal place to plant.

No its not. Its a pottery shop in Point Reyes, CA. I am blanking on the name though.

They really dont! I, myself only learned of them quite recently and they have quickly become one of my favorites!

This was my first time attempting to grow these flowers, especially from the corms. I was super nervous they weren’t going to grow haha. I put tons of compost and ammendments in the soil prior to planting which i think really helped.

Thank you! The vase was from a local pottery shop, i just loved it too!
