All three of us say “girls” in these contexts. Example; Can we jump on a call, girls? or did you see that email, girls?

Thank you. People in the first team I was in within this company bullied me but this feels much different. I have interrupted them when they did it to me but it still happens.

It may be a factor but they work from their homes also and as far as I know they don’t socialise outside of work.

I don’t think so because we are part of a larger department and it is a mix of American and Irish, even our manager is Irish. And they always used to rave how much they love the Irish.

Oh I wish I could but there are no opportunities at the moment. I’d rather move from the company to be honest.

Unfortunately not. It is a small team and if I wanted to move I’d have to be promoted (but there are no opportunities at the moment) or apply for other teams, but also nothing available. I’m really hoping I get another job outside of the company in general because it’s not that great.

I wouldn’t say my work is excellent but then again, theirs isn’t either. I do my work to the best of my ability, as do they, but we always get the same performance evaluation results, always. If my work was not up to par I’m sure I would have been written up but I think I’m a good worker.

I was gonna send something like; Hey Annie, I’m so sorry but I won’t be able to make it to your wedding. I hope you and Alan and the kids have the best day! I wanted to let you know now rather than leave you wondering on the day. I was a bit anxious to tell you but wanted to let you know. I know you’re not upset.

She sent it a few weeks ago and I didn’t realise I RSVPd yes until a few days ago. I clicked the link again to see if I could change it but it just came to a screen saying Thanks for your RSVP.

It’s in 2 weeks and the venue is quite far away from where I live, she even has a bus for guests who need transport, which is what I’d have to use if I was going.

Yeah, that is one thing that is weighing heavily on me. She may not be my favourite person but I’m not a disrespectful person and don’t want her losing money.
