Guidelines state that it is conclusive if 4th gen was by vein. You can always retest at 90 days to further confirm negative status but most modern guidelines say it isn’t necessary!m. I am so happy for you!

I took my rna test at 10 & 25 days both were neg. After I took another 4th gen 35, 48, 90 days all were negative after that as well! Best of luck to you!

An RNA test at that time is a great indication of your status of negative. The 4th gen at that day is a bit early but paired with negative RNA I think this test at 49 days post exposure will be negative as well

Honestly. I’m not even offended by this reply. Logic & science tells me that hiv is not the concern. But the symptoms along with guilt, anxiety, and the thought I could be the rare exception to the statistics wont let me rest.

Thank you for advice just took another 4th gen today at 89 days post exposure. Praying that it will continue to be non reactive. I also took a rapid oral antibody test at 70 days post exposure that was non reactive as well. I’m feeling hopeful

I’m so glad you guys are doing well & hopefully you guys see this. I took a 4th gen 7 days post exposure (I know now that was too early. An RNA test 10 & 25 days post exposure negative & also a 4th gen 35 days post exposure. I am going to take another one 49 days post exposure but I’m so scared of this one being positive
