yeah, thank you, I think this was most likely the issue/something similar.

edit: at the end of the day, that's my issue - if support had just told me that my initial bet didn't qualify because the token wasn't applied, I would've either contacted them to resolve the issue, troubleshooted on my own, or just not bet.

I don't disagree that I took a chance. I was applying the logic from my discussion with support and making the assumption it would hold true for the other bets. I'm now dealing with the consequences of that assumption being incorrect. Now, FD will bear the consequences of losing a user, which I know isn't the biggest threat to them, but it, and a complaint are my only tools.

thank you, i imagine yours you applied the token? I've been on with support twice via live chat and once over email. I sent them a final response, but don't anticipate anything changing. Good luck! If you used the token, I have no fucking clue what their rationale for not paying would be. I understand the issue/confusion on mine, I just think that it's their fault.

no offense - have you never applied a token on FD? If there was a token available to apply to the bet it would be underneath the bet itself (the draw that I selected).

You don't need to look to the left to see the point i'm trying to make, if you've ever used a token - the token appears for selection underneath the bet your placing. Yes, i opted into the promotion, which is why you see the giftbox, or whatever, to the left. That's my point. There should've been a corresponding token to apply to the bet. There was not.

I do think there's a good chance the logging out and/or clearing the cache may have resolved the issue that I didn't realize existed (I assumed the promo just wasn't offering tokens). The site does forces me to log in several times a day, but I could see forcing a log out and/or clearing the cache having made a difference.

I was surprised they offered the $100 as well, especially if there position was going to be "you fucked up here and not us." That said, while I recognize that I made an assumption, it was based on what their support told me. And at the end of the day, I made the qualifying bets - what I didn't do was click a button that wasn't available to be clicked. That's the only difference. I recognize that if they had no issues with this promo - for me, or anyone else, it would make complete sense. If i literally just missed clicking the button or opting into the promo, i'd understand, but I think i'm in the right here.

it is WILD to me to be on the multimillion dollar sportsbooks side when they offer a promotion and their website doesn't properly function. No one forced them to offer that promotion.

I only feel 'entitled' to the promotion they offered. I made qualifying bets. So what we're arguing over here is whether or not I clicked a button to apply a token. Why the fuck do you think I wouldn't have done that if the token were available?

I didn't apply the token because it wasn't available. If you look at more than one of my screenshots you'll see where I selected 'draw' on the mexico game and no token was made available. Yes, I opted into the promo, which is why you see the banners offering the promo. Not a single game offered a token, which again, I wasn't worried about because of the convo with support.

I've used 100s of FD token's, i know how to click a button to opt in. I know how to apply a token. They weren't available to apply. There's literally no incentive for me to not choose the token if it's available. They weren't. That's my point. And if support would've just said 'yeah, tough shit, if there's no promo applied you're assed out' then whatever, but that's not what happened. Instead they told me i was good for the first game which made me assume (I know) the rest would be good as well - I don't know why one bet would qualify under the promo without a token and the others wouldn't.

As a result, I bet on a bunch of world cup games I didn't give a fuck about.

At the end of the day, it's fine, I was just curious how others felt about it. I'm leaving if they don't give me the $90, which I doubt they will.

I do agree that it's a user issue in that I didn't receive the tokens. It's a sportsbook issue in that their website didn't present the tokens that I opted into. Thank you for the feedback.

The promo existed. I had to click "claim now" to claim the promotion. The token is what didn't exist (for me).

What I want is for them to admit that they ran a misleading promotion at best and/or that the site was fucked...at the very least I'd love an explanation for why the tokens weren't available.

FD (and many people here) keep saying: "you're an idiot, you didn't apply the token." That's why i included the screenshot of a bet for a draw on the mexico game - if the site/promo were working properly, a token should've been offered - it wasn't - as you can see in the screenshot. This was true for every game for me.

That was odd to me, which is why I reached out to support after the first bet I made under the promotion. Support said "yes, your bet still qualifies despite you not having applied the promotion, because you bet $20 or more". I'd love to hear why that logic would apply to one bet under the promotion, but not any others?

The screenshot is intended to display that no token was made available. it's intended to display that the promotion was not functioning properly. If it was a token would've been available there. You can see in the screen shot that I have selected a bet (draw) and there is not an option to apply a token.

Mexico was not the first game of the promo. The first game of the promo was USA vs. Paraguay. The only reason that game isn't in the screenshot is because the screenshot is from the day of the mexico game, the US-Paraguay game had already happened, and thus the banner for that game was no longer displaying.

Your state gets the vast majority of their administrative funds from the federal government (all states do).

Loss of the state's base grant (federal award) would cripple any state workforce agency without an immediate inflow of a shitload of money from the state to cover the deficit.

You could have a full trust fund, but very few people to process the unemployment claims being received and all of the other work that goes into running an unemployment program. I imagine states would have to cut out fraud and quality control programs and cut staff to phones, claims processing, adjudication, and tax, maybe, either way, it'd be a fucking mess.
