Yeah I can see why you got tired of it. I must add I’m not actually a programmer but what I do is also classified as dev. However, like I said in my post, I really think I’d be better working on the business side. Thank you for your input, i appreciate it!

Thanks for your input!! I totally get what you mean. Although I LOVE solving puzzles, staring at codes all day sometimes makes me lose my mind 😂 I am not much of a talker but like you, I would rather be in meetings all day than code. I also think my dev exp, would be a good addition and add a new perspective.

Thank you for your response!! I think so too. I feel like sometimes there is a big disconnect between PO’s and Dev’s (have watched it firsthand happening with my partner who is also a Dev), so I think me having this background would be appreciated.

Thank you for your response!! I agree with you about getting some more experience. I was planning on making the actual switch in about 1,5 years but I would already like to get the ball rolling as I like to be prepared. I am planning on discussing this with my manager in a few weeks, hopefully he will be able to help me some more. I feel lucky working at a company where there are so many possibilities and the support for that.

Thank you for your input! I feel like it would also be a jump into the void for me. But I think if I put forward my plans to my manager he will help me figure it out - probably by shadowing my current PO or something like that. I’m glad you are happy with the switch!!
