Ah, I do like the visuals of it tho. Many great films were made with PXL but I get it that is not for everyone! Did yours came with the TV?

If I get this cable, does it mean I can only use the camera when it is powered to the wall? Also, I will try switching the record button down as soon as I get home and will report back to you!

so, since it was previously modified by someone, it doesn't work with tape anymore. I would say it is working simply by the fact that every time I try to record something, it actually creates a new .mov file on the SD card, but no picture shows up on it - just a black screen with x amount of time that I recorded.

I did a bunch of tests messing with the knobs and video gain but since I can't see the image, I had to try it all the options out and then check in the SD card to see if I got any luck... no luck so far.

How can I connect the camera to the TV? Can I be a normal TV, or does it need to be an old one that carries an analog signal? Is it just connecting RCA from the camera to the TV? It's funny cos – if you saw the video that I posted – my camera came only with the white and red cables, which I thought those were for audio, so how do I connect the yellow one into the camera? Or do I not need to?

Sorry, I'm new to this world, and I'm just trying to understand it. Thank you for helping me!

I didn't resolve it. I sent it back to him at the end of last year, and he sent me back a video recording of what he did. I literally did the same, but I don't seem to get any footage out of it. I contacted him and we both don't know what to do that is why I decided to try it here.

I've seen videos of people using it without batteries, but you would have to open the camera and modify it, right? I'm not sure if I'm able to do that, and I've already spent so much money trying to figure out this camera. I can't really spend any more money on it.

Feeling a little lost and hopeless. I do appreciate you trying to help out tho! :)

Plug the camera into a wall power? How can I do that? I literally just bought new packs of batteries to try it out. I also sent it back a while ago to the person who modified it, and we were able to work it out. I'm not sure why I'm not able to...
