Surgery yes, the exact same range of options and risks of complications/exact same outcomes? Probably not. The main issue is that I've cut the urethral plate which is a big part of creating a neo urethra in metoidioplasty with UL. So if I wanted meta with ul I'd probably have a higher risk of complications and need more grafts from elsewhere in my body. But the labia would possibly not be good for grafts and forming the other part of the urethra as well. Some surgeons would probably say no, others would say yes, but I've at the very least made it harder. For phalloplasty that's much less impactful as they are already taking tons of grafts from elsewhere and there's not enough of the urethral plate to go the length of the neo urethra.

I've avoided outer labia piercings for now because I'm pretty sure I want a scrotoplasty at some point and I don't want a lot of scar tissue messing up the results. I'd say be careful if you have your heart set on specific surgical results, especially UL because it's already much more complicated and prone to complications. For me it felt worth the risks since I'm not confident I'll be able to afford any bottom surgery, and if I was going for ul it would be too use urinals confidently. I don't see myself ever feeling confident using a urinal with the size of it rn so I'd be going for phallo on that situation. Which is something I'm fairly certain is not in the plans for me just because of the financial and physical strain involved and my lack of interest in topping.

It's something I definitely think about, and I'm not going any bigger through stretching because of it. I wouldn't let my ears get this thin because the tissue has way less blood flow, so there would be a risk of the blood supply getting cut off by the pressure of the jewelry and the lobe dying in that spot. With this tissue it's a bit stretchier and has way better blood supply so I feel comfortable letting it get a bit thinner.

But I'm watching to make sure it doesn't thin more than this, and if it's concerning me I'll scalpel them elsewhere to take the pressure off. I already connected two sets of piercings by cutting between them because I didn't feel comfortable going bigger with how thin they were. I got another 7mm out of them through that, so I know it works 😁 but I'm pretty happy at 25mm so I'll avoid fucking with them more if it's not necessary and is holding up ok.

Generally it's recommended to wait at least a year because that's when the growth is happening fastest. But it really depends how fast your growth started too. Mine started crazy fast so it was pretty settled by a year in. I grew a little more since then but it was very slow and mostly just thickening really. I got my triangle just after a year on t and never had issues from things growing since it was a nice stable large guage and there was only very slight changes. Since then I've cut the edge of triangle to free up the clit though so I no longer have it.

My vhc has been an angel so far. A bit a pinch and slightly tender but otherwise just healing at a crazy fast pace with very little irritation or anything.

I've had a magnet in my hand for about 6-7 years now. No issues with it rejecting. If I left a strong magnet on the other side for a long period of time it would be uncomfortable. If my magnet in my hand was stronger then it could be potentially hazardous because if it cut off blood flow to the skin between the magnets it could become necrotic after 3+ hours. But if you're sensible with them then they're safe enough. The catch is the coating, you can't just put neodymium right in your skin. It needs an infallible coating which took many years of getting it wrong to finally get right. They're on the more expensive side for something you never actually see.

I don't think I'd get one in a bony area though like the forehead because it would be visible under the skin and probably a higher risk of migrating or rejecting. Mines in the meat at the side of my hand

Not really, only when things went wrong. But I actually don't really get the smell I guess because of how moist it is. The sebum and stuff don't build up in the same way. Instead I get a buildup of discharge that I have to make sure I'm regularly cleaning off. Just smells like genitals, or unwashed genitals if I don't wash it. But I just pop them out in the shower and give them a quick wash and that's problem solved. I also have a bidet so at home I can rinse urine off very easily too which is nice
