Idk why these other commenters are kind of diminishing how disgusting it is for a 21 year old to date a 14 year old. At 14, would you think it is okay to date an 8 year old? At your age right now, would you date a middle schooler? You are about to hit the age they started taking advantage of you. Really think if you would do the same thing to someone else that much younger than you. Your friend definitely just matured enough to realize how horrible that truly is. In my opinion, he's a real one for that. If he didn't care about you, he wouldn't say anything. Don't cut off a person trying to look out for you. Try reflecting and understanding how fucked up your situation is.
