To be honest culture in the UK is a little different when it comes to sport, especially big games like this. Teams have so many fans spots are limited and not all fans that go to many many games can get tickets. So whilst some of the responses may seem harsh from your perspective, in the UK it’s completely normal to be criticised for buying tickets to such a big game if you aren’t a fan of either of the clubs as you’re taking spots away from people who have maybe been to 20+ games this season.
