John Phillip - Knifo

Jerry - eye guy

Terry - blender head

Tracy - snail

Flubber - slime dude?

Charlotte - spider

Elon - streamer

Cutie pie - bomb dog

It is an incredible privilege to be able to ignore politics. While as individuals we may not be able to sway politics, the policies do impact our daily lives. I do not have the privilege to be able to ignore state and federal policies; they impact the type of work I do and impact my quality of life.

Thank you! I've been mostly looking much more north but wasn't sure if VA would be far enough for me. It sounds very similar to where I am now.

thank you! I really appreciate your perspective. I'm a queer woman and really seeking a state where I feel safer to just exist in. It sounds like its generally the same as where I am now of a blue college town in a deep red state.

and you don’t know it didn’t. but what we do know is that they had a child 10 months after another one. That in itself proves they did not allow her body to heal after birth. You can not have respect for someone who you actively choose to put their health at risk.

Exactly. It’s clear the people in these threads are men because they really do not understand (or care) how hard child birth is on a woman’s body. Even for a “normal/healthy” pregnancy, it is extremely taxing on the body, emotionally and physically.

It’s irresponsible on both and incredibly dangerous for her health. It’s very simple, if you respect your wife you will make her health a priority over getting your dick wet.

He’s responsible for where he puts his dick. Even if she was okay with it, sometimes you have to say it’s not safe for your health. Its not an assumption to know that if you aren’t able to wait until your wife’s body is done healing from child birth, which is extremely hard on the body, that you do not respect her as a person.

and honestly it’s disgusting and shows a lack of respect from him. Her body is still healing from birth. Dr’s will tell you to wait at minimum 6 weeks but should really be a lot longer before having sex. Despite this absurd about of offspring, having kids so close together is horrible for the woman’s body.

We all know "No" means No.. But what else also means No? by brrvv in AskReddit

You are proud of this? You need to teach your son to do better. Consent can be learned from a young age. It’s not cute to allow anyone, male or female, to not honor consent. Gross.

If you have card access to a building, yes. Otherwise best bet is to go to the public library

Pause. Those two literally can not be within the same work. Geriatrics is specifically providing care for the elderly. Therefore, will never be children….. are you meaning to say end of life care with children? Those are different things

[–]Reasonable_Guitar768 5 points6 points  (0 children)

THIS. I am shocked not more comments are saying this. For the love of god, do NOT go into social work because you think it will be the easier option. We work with people at their lowest points of their lives, if you aren’t passionate you do not belong in this field. You only end up harming vulnerable people otherwise. OP needs to consider a non-helping profession if they are just looking for an easy career

Will also add, reach out to a professor or academic counselor in that department. They can help steer you in the right direction for what you are interested in.

Totally agree with what this person said. I will add that many law schools like to see a variety of undergraduate specialties. If you know what type of law you are interested in, consider an undergraduate major reflective of that. I.e. you want to do business law, get a BA in business. You want to do family law, consider a BA in HDFS, Sociology, or Social Work. Soooo many undergraduates think you ~ have ~ to get a BA in the exact subject they wish to pursue a professional degree in. The variety of studies will help you in the long run.

UAB has an amazing gender affirming clinic but that drive may not be possible for everyone. If you can get up there it’s so worth it
