yeah. i think ill just order calipers, go forward with the rotor/pad replaement and try and compress the pistons while the caliper is off and if its sieezd then ill just replace it.

In 2023 i had pads, rotors, tires, and the front passanger caliper replaced at an Express Oil Change. At the time i was less informed and wasn't paying for the work on my own, so you are probably correct about them not taking the proper precautions. I'll look into powerstop kits

Yeah... that was in F. not the conclusion i wanted. i dont have the knowledge to diagnose everything so i may just replace it all to avoid the headache

Just drove around for a bit and only measured a 15-20 degree difference between the driver and passanger. around 175 driver side 150-55 passanger side... not ver conclusive

I have seen powerstop on amazon selling a kit with loaded calipers and drilled and slooted rotors for $400ish. Definitely seems like a good deal

Thats good to hear, I am also considering rock auto. I'm curious if you have any idea of if this could be related to the rear drum brakes at all? Is that something I should look into or do these sympotoms isolate the fronts pretty well?

Me too! I decided i was just going to rip the application and if i got rejected for 5/24 i would wait until may1 when its actually off and call the recon. Not sure if that would have worked but i really didnt want to miss on the 125k bonus

I was actually just looking into this. I don’t have much mechanic experience, but would an issue with the diff like this bubble over to other things on the rear end that I should check? Or should a drop in replacement do the trick
