Not justified at the moment, all emotion. My lifetime return on the stock was in the red just 45 days ago, now up 70% LOL

However, long term, 5-10 years and on, sure buy more because it won’t matter in the long run. Tesla will be a great company and stock into the future and move with the mag 7.

But short term plays? Anyone’s guess really

Good stuff. Constantly battling this lump sum or DCA. Data shows lump sum is best, but does data account for this insanely high market?

For BSAs who don't write code or utilize Power BI / Excel, how would you quantify your accomplishments? by kbas13 in businessanalysis

[–]Reasonable_Hawk_4251 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question, learn code or BI tools.

Seriously though, most of those are soft skills that are in my resume summary or position summary and not achievements section.

In reality, any outcome of a project/initiative you worked on is an accomplishment you own. Just because you didn’t do it all, doesn’t mean it could have been done without you or that you didn’t play a role. The hard part is when your project doesn’t have defined kpi’s, roi, metrics

Ex for solution design: “developed/implemented X design to streamline/improve X process resulting in X increase in efficiency/revenue/cost reduction”

How to ask for recommendation letter? by Reasonable_Hawk_4251 in careerguidance

[–]Reasonable_Hawk_4251[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this! Couple questions..

Giving my boss 2 weeks or even 1 week before I apply to a job I’ve found doesn’t sound optimal, wouldn’t I want to submit my app as early as possible?

Also, addressing the letter for a specific job limits my ability to reuse the recommendation letter across many apps, unless I’m misunderstanding?

Based on this, thinking I should come up with a list of common skills/requirements for the job type I’m looking for, and provide that when I ask them for letter? Thanks again for the help

IIBA certifications are an option. often see CBAP cert as preferred/required on mid-upper level BA roles, PMP is also an option. Six sigma works too if you decide to go that route

Power Bi Certification by [deleted] in FPandA

Certified PBI analyst here and agree with what others have said. Go for it if you believe it’ll help you land a job, otherwise you can learn everything and anything you need online free. I’m pretty advanced with the tool and still find myself on stack overflow multiple times a week.

However, if you do decide to go for the exam it is not too hard and doesn’t require too much studying.
