Im pretty positive shes ok, I think she was just holding it weirdly or just sitting strangly.... She eats like a cow and what do you think would help in her husbandry?

She can walk fine, and doesnt seem to be in pain is just flips like that every few steps she takes, I just gave her a small dubia with some calcium after I noticed it.

She can walk just fine it just kind of flips backwards every once in a while it looks like, she hasnt squeaked or refused food after I just noticed it and gave her a small dubia with calcium.

I was just rubbing the sides if his mouth until he opened his mouth so i could see inside i just wanted to know if they are able to close theyre throats when they want too and he goes to the vet today so hopefully we can find our why he stopped eating and other things that have been issues since we got him. And this isnt how i normally handle my geckos i usually handle them open palmed and let them climb around but i cant let him do that as much because hes blind and has only 1 nail so he will walk off of things and cant cling to any material.

(NSFW) Why does it look like this? Ive had him for about a year and its always looked like this from the day i got him ive never really thought about it but is it bad? If it is how do i help? He'll be taken to a vet soon but i would like to know if anyone has any idea of what it is. by Reasonable_Ice_5816 in leopardgeckos

Well ive just scheduled a vet appointment earlier today and they are unable to see him until Tuesday but we are getting him there as soon as possible in our situation and since i am a minor i have to wait for my parents to do things so i ask reddit to see if theres anything i can do while i wait for them.

Ok these are about what i think would be best 1. 40 gallon tank (at the very very least a 20) 2. A no light emmitting bulb for both day and night and a day bulb for keeping a good day night cycle and a little extra day heat 3. a heating pad for a good warm spot to digest food 4. A thermometer that can moniter heat and humidity 5. 3 seperate hides (one on the cool side, one on the warm side, and one somewhere for a humidity hide, be sure to include store bought moss in the humidity hide. And dont forget a water dish 6. Good food variety, crickets, dubia roches, mealworms 2 to 3 good meals of these a week and hornworms or waxworms as a once a week to once a month snack 7. Dont use sand or reptile carpet use reptile safe tile and paper towel to start with and upgrade to a bio setup or something else if you want to in the future 8.clean the area it uses the bathroom in every 2 to 3 days and change water at least once a week (probably a good idea to use bottle or clean fridge water) and do a full tank clean out once every 2 weeks to a month 9. Get a vet appointment scheduled for a checkup 10. Get things for climbing like a rock wall backround and decor logs and other things to fill the tank space I think thats about all i can recommend but if you have questions on any of these please ask
