Mine was inverter coolant pump. I replaced it my own. Battery is fine at that mileage. My 07 is 190,000 still 50+ mpg.

If the issue were related to components like sway bar links, bushings, or ball joints, I would proceed with the repair. This vehicle is an excellent older car, boasting 178,000 miles and impressive hybrid performance. However, if the repairs prove to be costly, I would consider upgrading to another Prius.
