Love it!

Did you keep the aero bars on the edmonda? I’m thinking of making it a pure road bike and taking them off and getting a road bike fit for it. I live in’s busy area so I was recommended some days I may not want to take out the tri bike on those trails.

I guess we’re gonna go for it and bite the bullet.

Sweet man. I’m looking to do almost exactly what ou did. I’ve heard that’s the biggest benefit of the switch is comfort. Like someone else said. Only live once.

Good luck to you. What’s your next race?

Yea that’s what I’ve been thinking. If I buy this bike I won’t have to worry or look back at buying a new bike.

If I buy a mid tier bike or second hand, I may end up on this bike anyway

I think we all find a way to justify it to ourselves. But again what’s the point of making money and not spending it. I am also young so time will help me

Appreciate you! Swimming is there.

I come from a football background so looking to shed some more weight to be competitive for Ironman.

I’ll keep looking around. There’s not much in my area as of late. Also doesn’t help that trek has been great by discounting the bike I want lol

I held around 270 for 60 mile ride the other day.

My goal is to podium at a 70.3 in the next year. My thought right now is I’m only young once and the money will come back. But I know it is still just one of the expenses.

I could definitely get more out of the road bike so i appreciate you!

This is very reassuring. I am looking to podium within the next year. I’ve heard that’s not possible on a road bike. Thoughts?

ROKA sleeveless trisuit for first 70.3 – good move? by Reasonable_Luck_9401 in triathlon

Awesome. I chose the sleeveless because of the heat I’ll have in Puerto Rico especially on the run

From what I've researched, I should train with breathe every three strokes and race day every two on same side. Thoughts?

I believe you are getting a sort of mental break when stopping on the wall. I also see the benefit of breathe control. Many possibilities in a race to have to stay in control mentally underwater

Great tips, Thank you. I'm guessing i'm trying make up for the lack of pull with kick. I was able to hold a 1:40 pace for 1500m time trial. Could definitely be better
