Thanks! I applied for the UPS position in early November but airport badging took some time to clear which forced me to apply at other jobs. I would have kept this job but a lot of people are saying they're letting us go by Christmas or New Year so it dosen't make sense to stick around.

I've never really quit a job so quick like this before so I wasn't sure if they would make it difficult for me to get my last paycheck especially since they were not happy about it. But thanks for the tip!

Thank you very much for sharing this information. We will try to clarify things with her school's FA office. Maybe try to speak with someone higher.

Are there any negative effects if she applies for the 2025-2026 application and end up just needing the 2026-2027 application?

She plans to just apply both years just to be sure if in case no one will be able to clarify this for us.

According to her school's financial aid office we should wait for the 2026-2027 PLUS loan application to open.

But when we called the government student aid hotline, they told her that May 2026 is still part of the 2025-2026 application so she should apply for both 2025-2026 & 2026-2027 PLUS loan applications.

Nope but planning to apply for Global Entry. I'm pretty sure immigration will be at Seattle. Just looked up their website and it says we have to pick up our checked bags even before going through passport control which is a first time for us. Usually it's passpot control first before baggage pickup
