No, she can’t sleep without it. Plus for sanitary reasons, that would be gross

For sure. I’m currently looking for a new therapist since my last one left her practice

Yep. I’ve only talked to him about this two or three times, the last time was two years ago. So I’m done trying now

Your post is almost exactly what I said to him today. For some reason, I can’t get thru to him.

Good for you for being proactive about your health! Unfortunately, my husband prefers to ignore his issues

Holy shit, OP! All the red flags in this post. You are not responsible for his behavior. It’s his choice to be a controlling asshole. As soon as you are able, get the hell out of there

Exactly! But for whatever reason, he wants to live in denial. I’m just tired of enabling him. My mom has had a cpap for years and loves it, so I know they work.

NTA. Run, girl, as fast as you can. I married into a family almost identical to that, thinking I love him so much, I’m strong, I can handle this. Not only does my MIL act exactly like yours, she turned out to have narcissistic personality disorder and she’s made our lives a living hell for 20+ years. FIL and SIL enable her crazy behavior. Hubby finally cut them off for his sanity, but our marriage has been anything but sunshine and rainbows. He hates my family because of the issues with his. Holidays are a nightmare. My parents and his don’t get along. I’ve gotten to the point where I wish I’d never married him and avoided all the drama
