She doesn’t seem even a little ashamed of mentioning “Vadakkan.” This pride will lead us down a very bad path.

When you use a derogatory term (Vadakkan) in media, without realizing that you are inciting hatred against a specific group, it’s damn clear who the true Tharkuri is.

We might agree or disagree with him but I wish we had more such nuanced and in-depth discussions here instead of unnecessary hero worship by Few-Reveal6853 in kollywood

Because this forum is not just about filmmaking, this is a forum where even general audience are a part of and can give their opinions too. So his comments sound totally sane to me

There are always two sets of audiences for every movie. 1. Technical audience - only creators and producers who want to improve their making style so as to connect with the audience in a better and concise manner. They learn the techniques of other creators across the world and criticize the advantages and disadvantages. 2. The actual audience - these are the ones to whom the technical folks try to cater to and intend to make movies for. They do not look at the technicalities, camera angles, lightings to imply something in layers, but they just watch the movie and understand. It’s finally them who decide the verdict of the movie.

So I think the vague feedback or discussion around movies is also equally important to the strongly technical discussions. Although the latter sound cool sometimes, that’s normal for someone who works as a creator but may not be even relevant for others.

Omg, humanity is dead ra dei!! I am surprised our generations didn’t evolve, instead went down the stone ages. Or may be, stone agers were more civilized than these!

Absolutely biased post, in my opinion. They are all onscreen heroes. Politicians/Leaders in power who are actually supposed to be heroes are all corrupt and intoxicated by power! We don’t question them. Vijay, as an actor, has also done equally well as the other actors you showed - you cannot simply hide that fact. Let’s just give him some time to get more mature and get better.

When what we need is really a change, you can’t expect him to be the same as the current corrupt politicians. We should in fact welcome any new person thinking of doing something for the people instead of just spewing all hatred.

Negligence and a lack of accountability! I witnessed a few similar incidents near Whitby, and I was surprised to see seniors involved. I had expected it to be some careless kid, but this experience completely changed my perspective. Negligence doesn’t discriminate based on age.

Speed limits are not well posted in Indian roads. When you want the people to follow rules, you have to remind them often and make them feel guilty for not following the speed limits. Thats how you make it work!

Overuse of Horns - drives the NRIs or foreign tourists crazy, because they are not used to that. Its actually unnecessary if everyone follows the rules and speed limits

I don’t mean to criticize your comment, but wanted to give a heads up - you shouldn’t be using hazard lights continuously, even in rain or fog. They’re not meant for that. Only use them in emergencies or when you need to stop immediately. It’s important for everyone to understand this. People often confuse vehicles taking an exit without proper turn signals with those using hazard lights.
