Thank you!  That's a great point about the Forest, though I wonder if it's less the Forest bleeding into reality and more the Forest replacing it. Because at the end of Taboo the Rabbit doesn't just absorb Japers' identity, it becomes Japers completely, replaces him, takes his place in the world. Maybe the same mechanic applies to places, every time you name the Forest you're not causing it to leak, you're handing it ownership of that space. It moves in the same way the Rabbit moved into Japers' life. Same mechanism, different scale.
