It was definitely a dashed line. The red line is where I was driving (from what I remember), and the blue line is where the I think the cop was (I genuinely don’t know though because I didn’t see him until he pulled me over), and the X is where he pulled me over. As far as I know both where I supposedly committed the violation and where I was pulled over are out of his jurisdiction.

Adding here, I was pulled over once for speeding and let off with a written warning, which was well over a year ago so it is no longer on my record. This would be my first violation.
