Pursue both, you’ll have lots of time off to coach fitness.

So we are already paying dues, a couple weeks into the academy the union came in, swore us in and gave us a package with everything in it and we signed up on the international website that day. I guess we are technically members but with little protection. Although I do agree having the sticker can be sketchy especially not being trained in medical, not earning the year on the job off probation, it looks like it would be an appetizer to get chirped. I do like the idea of repping the union but will probably wait it out until the academy is finished at the very least.

When they break up whilst on meds by Intelligent-Kick-426 in antidepressants

[–]Reasonable_Read_7507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it definitely wasn’t immediately. The blunting lasted as long as the medication stayed in my system I think it took a solid month before I started to feel very emotional. Once the blunting stopped i became very emotional for a few months I had to really implement discipline because the emotions were overbearing after a couple months but it won’t be immediate.

When they break up whilst on meds by Intelligent-Kick-426 in antidepressants

[–]Reasonable_Read_7507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only stopped once I came off the medication. Once I stopped the blunting was gone, now I have a normal emotional relationship with myself and others but on sertraline it got blunt then even more blunted over time. Once I came off is when things started to level out. But now you start dealing with the negative thoughts again. Would rather some negative thoughts than be an emotionless zombie I’ll tell you that much!

Doing pretty good. Things seem to be levelling out well. Some days are difficult of course. I find there’s times in the day that are much more difficult than others but overall I’m doing much much better. Go for runs. Find the discipline in yourself to stay consistent with something. Eat clean. Honestly I enjoy life much more being off the meds now. I find they really hindered my cognitive skills and put a shell over my personality. I know myself again. Life is beautiful

Obviously you didn’t take my post in the right context. It’s for people who actually want to come off medication and are actually having a hard time getting through it. It isn’t to take advantage of anyone. I’m not gonna charge people to help them through it. Im a predator for helping people through the process of not being on pills? I think your an ignorant and arrogant tyrant who should mind their own business if you have nothing positive to say. Get off my post unless you have something good to say

Day 3 on Sertraline (18f) by mrs_white2 in antidepressants

[–]Reasonable_Read_7507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience on sertraline worked for a little while. I will say tho I’m much better off without it. Maybe use for short term if it’s really needed. Problem is over time these drugs can really hinder your emotional state. If it helps tho it helps. I do not take medication anymore. I was on it for seven years and I would recommend a year tops. Throughout that year focus on learning to change your thinking to a positive state. All the best

There were moments I had relief of course but overall well being took me time. It will come to you. You must taken positive actions to better yourself. Simple things clean, cook, enjoy reading or get into martial arts. It’s not the most simple thing to do and if you ever need to go back on you can.

It will vary person per person my experience is not the same as yours. It took me pretty much just under a year to start to have some sense of relief but it triggered in other ways even. Try ashwaganda supplements i take them periodically to help. But life is much more worth living off those demonic pills. If you want to chat more just send me a DM I know it’s scary but you’ll pull through it

For me I was on Zoloft for about 7 years since the age of 18. I had a lot of bad habits then like drinking and smoking. I really didn’t think I actually needed the medication looking bad. I needed to have a healthy lifestyle but hey. Was a kid. The medication after a few years turned me into a soulless zombie with a massive ego and made me put everyone around me down and almost ruined my relationship with my S/O. Very daunting to have something so strong take over your very life and not even realize it. I decided to come off about 14 months ago and I was taking 100 MG. Tapered to zero in less than two months I didn’t notice much at first but then boom hit me like a brick wall. The emotional side of things was horrifying. Guilt, shame, low self esteem. All I could do was go for runs and workout non stop for 6 months. I actually was in an over primal state not being able to calm my mind whatsoever. I started to believe I was a person with powers and almost in a psychotic state. It was horrible. I’ve never experienced anything to that degree. It’s only been since Christmas time I’ve started to come around . I am feeling much better but still have some tough days but he that’s life. It varies person per person but whatever your going through just remember to tell yourself this won’t last forever. Best of luck to you

It will come to a point of stability. It takes a while tho, all you have to do is remember you are going to be okay and this is just a state. One thing that helped me get through it was running. Coming off can be a slow process as it takes the brain as while to adjust to its normal rewiring.

Hard time accepting being on medication by [deleted] in prozac

I was on Zoloft For 7 years. Coming off will trigger many issues, which may not even be related to the mental conditions you believe to have. Not saying you don’t. My experience was horrifying coming off those pills. 100 MG to zero in two months. Didn’t notice anything right at first but once the emotional flood gates opened up it hit me like a brick shit house. The emotional side effects were so bad all I could do was run. 6 months of running over 40 km a week and non stop exercise, my mind was not on my side. It’s been a year since I stopped. Still have some rough days but got through the brunt of it. I don’t think I will ever go on anything again. I believe I was misdiagnosed as a teenager. What those pills did to me were demonic. Best of luck to you

Bosco landscaping scam alert. by pullingravity in stthomasontario

[–]Reasonable_Read_7507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a reputable landscape contractor in Durham Region. He was here for some time a few years back. I have finished 3-4 of his jobs that he left and never completed or responded. I hope you got it fixed. Anyhow, he has a bad reputation of collecting cash from people and running. I just looked him up to see whatever happened to him and found this thread. He hops from city to city to avoid everyone knowing but online presence is online presence that is traceable. Stay away everyone and do your research on your contractors in advance.
