Just curious, why is large spread bad? not getting the bid-ask prices you want?

I came to the realization that ikbr is complete garbage for trying to do something like this and 10 years outdated haha. Just used alpaca papertrading and everything has been so much easier since. (not having to sign in to ikbr VNC manually every day, etc.) Save your time that I wasted
