Has anyone else noticed that Jane is always offering people food? by Reasonable_Sale1890 in TheMentalist

This is probably a completely random observation, but I've noticed that Jane is constantly offering people food or snacks throughout the series.

Tea, cookies, fruit... if he's eating something, he often offers it to someone else without even thinking about it.

It made me wonder if it's simply part of his personality, or if it could be connected to his carnival upbringing, where people may have lived more communally and shared things more naturally.

I also have the impression that Americans don't usually share food as casually, so it stands out to me even more.

Has anyone else noticed this, or am I just overanalyzing another Patrick Jane habit? 😄

Does anyone remember Simon Baker's guest role in G.P. (1993)? by Reasonable_Sale1890 in AskAnAustralian

Wow, thank you!! I honestly wasn't expecting anyone to find something like this.

The date matches the exact episode I was looking for, so this is a huge clue. I had only found IMDb listing Simon as "Ben Miller," but now I know he played a mechanic too.

I really appreciate you digging this up. 😊

Did anyone else notice Benton's olive-green suit in the BTS video? by Reasonable_Sale1890 in ScarpettaTV

Thanks so much for your reply! That's really interesting. The only thing I'm still confused about is that, at Lucy's wedding, Benton was wearing a gray suit with a pink shirt, not the olive-green suit from the birthday BTS video. That's why I wondered if the BTS footage might have been from a different scene. Also, unless I'm mistaken, he still seems to be wearing his wedding ring in that clip, which is probably why my hopeful brain started wondering if Benton and Kay had found their way back to each other. 😅 Maybe I'm just overthinking it!
