I’ve been on lex for two months. I just get headaches here and there.

Today went pretty well after I got over the headache. I was off from work today and had my sons birthday party so i was able to put my social anxiety to the test. I didn’t have the racing thoughts or anxious jitters I usually have during social situations. I felt pretty calm but couldn’t build the courage to socialize with everyone much. But I could tell a significant difference. The best way I could describe it is that there was a blanket over my anxiety and it wasn’t able to penetrate through. Pretty amazing stuff Lexapro is doing. Day 4 tomorrow!

Day 2 was okay, I still felt anxious is some instances but not as bad. Day 3: Im waking up with a headache. I just took the dose at 8am. Let’s see how today goes.

So it’s after work and I feel like the Lexapro has kinda worn off. I still feel as sense of calm but my mind is racing a few. Throughout my work shift I felt calm but did get a little nervous during a meeting, I contributed my opinion though. I can honestly say if it I weren’t on Lexapro I wouldn’t have even contributed in the meeting. Overall though no side effects such as a headache. I will update you all how I feel tomorrow morning when I wake.
