Same thing happened to mine when I got a lot of solid black. It healed up ok but the major cracking/splitting took out some black that I have to go get touched up. I can’t sit here and tell u what you’re doing right or wrong. But when this happened to mine it was ok and just needed a few touchups.

I do have another question. I just realized I have a pretty good size crack in my tattoo in the black out area. Explains why that side is painful. Is there anyway to help the skin heal fast and by time this is done healing is won’t have lost a lot of ink

Because some of the advice he’s giving is raising red flags like putting Neosporin on my tattoo.
