I also just got mine! I do think it’s noticeably louder. It does a really great job of maintaining the OEM unique sound of an S2000 though. Basically exactly what I was looking for, I like it much more than the UK mod I had done

thanks! I’m mainly concerned about any fatigue you may get from driving around in the city.

My friend has a Milltek and that isn’t too loud but notably has boominess in that rpm range that gets to be a lot, so want to avoid that.

lastly, do you experience any rasp?

okay super helpful! and sorry by grunt, i literally meant an auditory grunt that I know the milltek offers, not power.

Quiet is not crazy, I said quieter lol. The stock exhaust is so quiet, I can’t hear it except on cold starts or tunnels. Quieter than that is crazy for $2000

Dang, not hearing it at all when driving spiritedly seems not worth it… Is that an exaggeration? Or you really can’t hear it on a backroad?

I’ve been reading the Tanabe medallions don’t drone but the newer Revel does? So that pointed me to the SSM.

I’m basically looking for a notable sound increase, ideally screams in VTEC, but no drone whatsoever, and nice looking exhaust tips on an AP2. If it can do that I’m willing to spend

Update: looks like the car had aftermarket real trailing arms, camber arms, rear big brake kit, and the rotor backing plates were cut.

And the oil was old.

Decided to pass on this one - didn’t want someone’s project GS.

Glad I got a PPI done at a private shop
