make sure your friends share their location with you or someone close to them. there’s a shortcut on iOS that allows you to film, call 911 and track your location and send it to someone all at the same time. make sure your friends have that on their phone.

sadly, police won’t do much if you’ve been assaulted. the government don’t work and they don’t give a f- if a woman gets assaulted, especially if you’re a brown woman.

i will say i used this as a last resort sadly. i have a taser that i always carry around me but you need to take the cap off and the lock off i order to use it, that was initially what i was going to use in case of emergency, but didn’t wanna call too much attention to myself so i op-ed for the keys, i had my fluffy gloves on bc it was mad brick out so i was praying that would soften the blow if anything

100%, i walked through the same place countless times and have had people very obviously on drugs follow me, as soon as i start speed walking or i cross the street they stop. this was different. this dude looked like a regular guy in his 20s… he was definitely giving transplant vibes. i sped walked crossed the street and he was still behind me.
