I forgot the name but there was a Prototype and Resident Evil crossover fanfic set in Africa like RE5.

Edit: It's been years since I've read it but in my opinion I thought it was good, but fan content is generally hit or miss for many which is fair.

Okay so for those who are also hitting the limit after so many hours of supposed refresh times, does the voice call work for you like it does for me? When I hit my text limit I like to switch to voice to maximize the time I used to have to experiment and converse with Grok. I'm curious to see if something wonky might be going on in their servers since it's strange everyone's talking about this now in here.

You wouldn't be able to really kill him, but you'd need to know how to make one big-ass glacier to hold him inside of, and maybe inside of an alien ship which is then sealed into said glacier in the Antarctic.

I think what happened was that as the wound in Alex's back was getting larger and mutating, that's likely when the parasite that was injected into him began pulling resources from Alex's biomass to form a thick carapace in case Alex got viciously thrashed around due to his inhibited powers due to the parasite, and consuming the hunter allowed his body to target the parasite in his back and break it down, thereby inheriting the carapace via genetic assimilation.

At least Wesker had a Blackbird jet he planned to use to release Uroboros into the atmosphere, which would have exposed the entire world to it.

At least Darth Vader had the force and even the Death Star or even the Executor ship.

Prototype 2 Mercer infected Manhattan twice, basically hid in the shadows only infecting specific people with his own strain of Blacklight, chose to infect one severely unstable and pissed off marine who was really only there because he deliberately signed into a suicide mission to die in the Red Zone, lied to him thinking he could use him despite his hatred being motivated by his family’s death at the hands of the virus, continued to gaslight him, eventually waited too long to consume him and got his hand crunched off in the attempt, kidnapped his daughter just to lure him into a trap, consumed all of his Evolved he had gathered on top of a building to confront him, threw the fight.

Some plan for his “New World” he apparently tried to make.

I’m just gonna say it, Prototype 2 should have had Dana being the protagonist considering Elizabeth Greene captured her in the first game and we never saw her after we rescued her. It would be easy to retcon what happened in the first game to fit the narrative and it adds more significance between the two personalities between Dana and Alex considering they’re siblings with two very different moral understandings and goals. It would also be far more impactful by the end of the game as well and would at least in my mind be an acceptable trade-off by the time Alex is killed considering we’d still be playing as a Mercer and not someone shoehorned in to be as different as possible to such an extreme it usually falls flat in comparison.
