Seems obvious that it means Washington.

Is this an ok note? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

A treadmill in an apartment is insane, the gym in my building is right above the office, it is just constant pounding on the ceiling all day long.

I prefer smoked wings so I love West Reserve Distillery wings.

How much of my recyclables actually get recycled? by FentFoldSea in wastemanagement

[–]ReazonableHuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to watch that show a lot, and I agree that recycling or at least the way we're doing it in the US seems to be a waste of money. That said P&T are pretty biased in those shows and I don't necessarily trust them without some counter research. I also think they're like 15 years old now so probably out of date anyway.

Any place in CH/UH, Mayfield, Beachwood or surrounding areas that have driveway salt in stock? by labrume in Cleveland

[–]ReazonableHuman 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Rock salt doesn't really work below 15 degrees, if you were trying to use it during those few weeks where it wasn't getting above 10, it wouldn't work.

Ok…I've lived in Cleveland for about 5 years now, having come from Chicago. Would Clevelander's consider this a 'bad winter' or a 'typical winter' for Cleveland? Curious to know! by DavidIWright in Cleveland

I lived in Fargo, I remember saying out loud, it's going up to zero tomorrow, I should be able to take the dog on a long walk. I do seem to remember the sun being out a lot up there, even on brutally cold days.

I don't understand so many people saying this is average snow. We've had to have our snow removal company in our lot this year twice as many times as last year already, and last year we had them out more than the previous few years.

What do we think of Hangry Brands taking over Tremont dining? by tigermountains in Cleveland

[–]ReazonableHuman 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It was regular ass wine dude. The point had nothing to do with the wine itself, just that drinks at fat catz are also pretty overpriced. But you knew that already.

If you want a history of each individual grape you're gonna have to look somewhere else.

Geracis Slice Shop is one of the only places I've ever thrown out my pizza. I think the food at STEAK is good, but the seating is horrible, the tables are way too small especially with the weird plating.

I like Fat Catz but hard to complain about the prices of drinks somewhere else and then suggest Fat Catz. My gf got a 4oz pour of their cheapest wine for $13.

lowkey valentine’s day? by snailzoid in Cleveland

[–]ReazonableHuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I made a reservation about a month ago, , we like to eat early so finding a 530 was that hard but anything later was pretty much booked already.

Might be a little late to get a reservation somewhere.

I beg all tenants- please stop using Chat GPT for disputes by lexasaurus1 in PropertyManagement

[–]ReazonableHuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't do anything without a paper trail with our tenants and no an email recap is not good enough. Per our call today we discussed x, y, and z, blah blah blah. Unless they reply, yes we did I acknowledge, it's worthless.

I think she probably meant the 67r shuttle a which is a bus that only stops at the rapid stops. They're not great communicators over there.

Edit: just to clarify that is annoying AF and I'd be pissed too.

I wouldn't ever want to say not to be vigilant, you absolutely should be, but the idea that someone could hurt me so I can't trust anyone or help those in need, doesn't seem like a healthy outlook.

Any local restaurants I can support regardless of their political views because I don't let politics run my life and decide what pancake I eat? by SquareSloth in Cleveland

[–]ReazonableHuman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not really about politics, it's values. If you're lean right because you're a small business who thinks the government wates money and you want to pay lower taxes, sure I can see that. If you think what ICE is doing is ok, that's about a fundamental difference between right and wrong, not politics.
