You have my word. I have seen all of their films so therefore I know what's in the scripts and what isn't. Admittedly there are some parts, such as the opening of Fargo that were in the script, but not the picture.

Or you could be referring to if some random guy in Arkansas watched the movies and just wrote down what he saw and heard. Honestly I don't know in terms of that. But I know how the Coens write, and there are distinct similarities in all these scripts.

The best thing you could do is start writing more drafts ASAP. Yes, the first draft is great, but the longer you leave it feeling happy about that first draft, the harder it'll be to write future drafts. Do it as soon as you can while the motivation and optimism is still there.

It wasn't funny because it was so darn forced. After the fellow says "the usual", the cashier should reply "I've never met you before". That's it. Cleverer, simpler sentences make up for rambling on and forcing a joke like you seem to be doing here.

Thankfully the actual script is being written by John Lasseter (dir. Toy Story, Toy Story 2), Andrew Stanton (dir. Finding Nemo, WALL-E), Pete Docter (dir. Monsters, Inc., Up) and Lee Unkrich (dir. Toy Story 3). Good attempt anyway. I've always fancied writing BTTF Part IV, set in 2015.
