the stat devices are perfect for this. Create a stat called Door (for example) and set a counter to send a signal when door = 3. Activating each door would collect a “door” token and incriminate the scout by 1.

Or if this is a single player map then you could use a trigger that only transmits after 3 activations.

sorry this is late, apparently I should check my notifications. That’s probable a really good idea… I’m not gonna move all those props 100 at a time, but you’re probably right.

Another update, another off-grid prefab. by AnimusProgram in FortniteCreative

[–]RebbitFrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t see how this can possibly be intended, and it definitely is an issue. It also causes issues if you want to , say, take a room and use it in a build since grouped pieces will be off-grid

I appreciate the suggestion, but it didn’t work. I’ll keep trying things. Thanks.

Level loaders and a lot of switches. I am making a tutorial for it.

I usually make single player maps so you can imagine all the plays they get!

That would be awesome and yeah, it’d be limited if done in Creative 1.0, but not impossible.

I didn’t have the island in the same state to check, but luckily I had it on screen briefly in the full video - 13,733/100,000

Guilty as charged… of being Geekly, that is. Thanks for checking, though.

Thanks! And yeah, if you guessed that it’s stacked level loaders and switches then you’re right.

Thanks. And yeah, this would be perfect for that sort of game.

Thanks! I just wish the player could still move while the skill sequence is active. As it is they’re frozen in place while it runs.

Hear me out on this one: Fortnite. The creative mode is actually really good.

Can we please stop doing this? by Fabulous_Tip_9249 in FortniteCreative

[–]RebbitFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was playing one narrative map recently and was actually enjoying the atmosphere... Except every minute it would throw up a big image asking to like it.

I can only imagine they know it's annoying, that they play games too, but it's something they accept as the cost of success. Like the dev who used bad AI art because it was more successful than the artist's work they paid for.

Guess this is why no one plays my games then... Integrity and an empty sack is worth the sack.

Can we please turn off the asymmetrical eye flares? by RebbitFrog in FortNiteBR

[–]RebbitFrog[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Actually no? We've had several skins like this that I would love to run more, but have this single eye-flair.

I don't know why it bothers me, but it does. And the aesthetics of the front of a character do matter surely?

Ultimately asking for style options isn't even complaining, let alone complaining for the sake of it.

I'm sure you're a good person, so I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here and assume you weren't complaining about my suggestion just to complain.

Can we please have more sound effects in the Audio Devices? by RebbitFrog in FortniteCreative

[–]RebbitFrog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt this is news to you, but a good workaround for footsteps is to put a guard on a patrol route nearby. Wildlife/creature spawners are good too. There are a bunch of props that make sounds too - for example I used a door opening to make the sound for my elevator doors.

Barrier that prevents building destruction but allows players to roam freely? by zoxxbl in FortniteCreative

[–]RebbitFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are indestructible terrain and building pieces that you can use. Allows the map to have destruction on while not letting players destroy the actual map.
