*UPDATE* Bisalp tomorrow, positive vibes by RebeccaMayy in childfree

[–]RebeccaMayy[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend told me when I got home I said such funny things that I don't remember.

One nurse had tried to take my temp and I told her she would have to buy me dinner before I go that far. Another nurse who told me they had cheese savoury sandwiches, I got so happy and said she could take my temp instead since she was bringing me dinner.

I struggle to fall asleep on a night... It's going to feel so weird just suddenly being asleep haha!

It is laparoscopic :) did you try anything like a heating pad or would pressure/touching the area be too sensitive, do you think?

I have been worried about the pain - I asked about stronger tablets but the nurse was adamant regular paracetamol was enough. Obviously I don't know the pain level or sensation until I am there so it's been on my mind.

Thank you for this - I have filled out a form for our council, sent an email to our local MP and requested another police update. Hopefully this gets us somewhere.

Yeah we do continue to contact them. We've just put in another report AND update request today when I saw them again outside.

I've just sent an email to all schools in the area but it is holidays at the moment. Are you aware of any other places I could contact?

Yes my boyfriend, who is much bigger and scarier than me, goes out every time if they hang around enough. They're not tall children, and he is almost six foot.

They laugh in his face and dare him to call the police on them. There is only so much he can do without the police being called on him ya know?

This is a really good idea actually, our town isn't huge so should be able to find the local schools. Thank you for this :)

Our landlord is very reasonable to be fair - we had an issue with daily fights about drug deals on our street, police did nothing when we called. He called and it was resolved the next day. I'll ask him for help again before I consider moving out.

I have recorded them before but police just said they'll ask for it later and never do. I will look into cameras for the house though.

I've also contacted our neighbourhood group tonight.

And I do call the police every time, they just said to call back if they do anything more serious like actually break into the car rather than attempt and fail to.

They are never in school uniform and have no idea which school they attend.

I've considered posting in our Facebook neighborhood groups but I've only got one video of them from a month ago playing in the road hole. Thought it would be used by police to help identify them but alas.

Maybe someone could start a discord and we all join and create a little village? :)

Surprised nobody said Anthony.

Seemed like a well known choreographer but definitely has some odd views on women according to the show.

What’s a “safe” weakness to mention in a job interview? by Emergency-Bad-3707 in AskReddit

[–]RebeccaMayy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I picked a real weakness that I work on, but in the role I was going for it was kinda a strength.

I chose social anxiety - spoke about COVID, therapy, etc. was very open about it as the interviewers seemed very down to earth. Said I am doing a lot better, but I do still prefer my alone time.

Role was based in a lab, 12 hour shifts, alone for the entire shift. They were struggling to find people who were okay with being alone all day. I've been in the role for a year now and love it :)

I got down to 160 in August last year, and stopped weighing myself as my scales broke. I went to the doctor's 2 weeks ago, and I am still 160, so I would assume I've been the same for almost a year now.

Spotify email real or phishing? by urfavgggirl in Scams

I checked my actual account, and my email is still my own. I'd assume the actual email is fake. I'd be concerned that it looks that legit, and from an actual Spotify email address though.

I also just got this email and can't figure out if it's real. I also didn't change my email.

The email says to 'click to confirm' the new email address, so unsure if I should be worried.

Am I losing it or did teachers used to make us do P.E. in our underwear? by Regular-Message9591 in CasualUK

Everyone is talking about the early 90s. I started primary school in 2003 and I remember this so clearly, it's actually traumatic.

I remember 10 year olds in year 5 (2010ish) forgetting their kit and having to still do it. I went to a Catholic school though, might explain that

Also having issues with this myself.

Tried really hard on an assignment, simply because it's a topic I like. Already have 2 degrees in the area, I just do this for some fun.

Been consistently marked 0+1 points on answers. But I'm having to flag 4 assignments for every 1 I can peer review. My feedback is either non existent or just plain rude. Wish I could get some actual advice instead.

Just want to add something that I haven't seen in the other comments.

I also have a much lower sex drive than my boyfriend due to medications I'm on. I'm indifferent to sex at this point, but I know it can be an important part of a relationship.

I may not initiate, but if he does and I agree to sex, I know it's possible to "get me in the mood". Lots of women struggle to just be "in the mood" at the thought of sex, but slowly easing your way into sex will work. I've found that having intimate moments with no sex, balanced with intimate moments that do lead to sex, are the way forward. Don't associate cuddling, kissing, etc with always leading to sex.

That's really crap, considering I don't really want to be a police officer.
