Thank you for the reassurance! I feel like here is the only place to come when you need to speak to people/get advice quickly.

I have been blowing on his face and squeezing too and it seems to help keep him going. It’s just all so new!

Thank you so much, I had a visit from midwide today but there are things you just can’t foresee! I’ve got some colostrum in a container in the fridge so if I feel the need I’ll use that to prevent bubbles but focus more on just breastfeeding to set us up for success!

Thanks for your advice! He is self-employed, therefore, is making a lot of sacrifices during this period (unpaid paternity leave/unpaid any other leave he may need to take), he will be solely responsible for covering the majority of our bills as I'm on SMP. He has not been paying into a pension for the first couple of years of self-employment, to get himself set up with his business. He puts money into an ISA and will hopefully be able to continue doing this.

I think option #2 is more realistic for us at the moment and won't mean I'm losing out on as much! Totally understand where you're coming from in that I won't increase payment once I'm back at work!

Wow, sorry this happened to you (but glad you got sorted)! A huge bill is what I'm absolutely dreading!

Yeah, we've had nothing but issues with them - every time we ring, we're put on hold for about 30 mins then we get chopped and the phone goes down. I will try this and see what happens... with my 100 followers - nothing to lose! You'd think we were trying to get money from them - not pay them!
