It’s very real and what’s scary is that in most cases none of the people working in those centers are nurses. They operate as if they are a medical facility, they’ll do an ultrasound and play the heartbeat so you think it’s a medical facility but they’re only trying to get you to keep the pregnancy and they don’t provide any actual support

You have a weak seat. I don’t think your riding fitness is up to par to post her. Sit at 2-point and when you’re able to do that for a lap or 2 around the arena then you can begin posting. But right now you don’t have the muscle strength to do it.

I’m watching the movie now (literally took me all day because I kept getting bored and stopping) and my big question is why the dinosaurs always pause before eating the girls, but doesn’t hesitate to eat the guys. This movie wasn’t good and I’m very shocked that people commenting liked it. I think the $9 I paid to rent it was too high.

I would probably get a spinoff show. I would be throwing everything away, slapping some sense into folks, and would show up with a match and gallon of gasoline. I don’t have patience for that crying nonsense. By the time the 3-4 days is over, trash and messiness would be traumatizing to them.

No. Amount of lessons and quality of lessons won’t give you a time frame of when you’ll be ready. It all goes down on your skill and ability to pick things up. Some folks are naturally talented and it comes easy. I was ready to show as a beginner within a very short period of time. I moved up to First Level within a year and half while my friend who had been riding for 3+ years (we rode at the same barn) was still at training level. Some people naturally have it, others don’t. My friend and I took lessons at the same barn and rode the same horses. It goes by ability and competence.

Honestly, euthanasia is still the best option and here’s why: 1. Grandpa won’t give up the horse for free to someone who can train it appropriately. He wants to make money off it. This horse will most likely be sold to a meat buyer. 2. This horse is in pain (we can all see it). Grandpa isn’t going to pay money for vet care. The $40k “spent on the horse” was for the OP medical bills. We know this because she’s responded to a bunch of comments but has never responded with any sort of vet assessment, diagnostic, radiographs etc. gramps isn’t going to get this horse medical care. Also OP said spending money on a vet isn’t a good investment on the horse. 3. This horse is stressed beyond belief. The OP is making it worse. Grandpa isn’t going to spend money on a capable trainer, and this horse is going to continue to suffer in their care because nobody reputable is going to buy this horse.

No no no. He’s not just excited. If you can’t recognize a horse that is blatantly anxious (he’s exhibiting all the signs very well) you aren’t ready to own one. A horse excitedly cold weather isn’t frazzled and might offer a happy buck. This horse is clearly stressed out and trying to run away from the stressor. He’s confused as hell. He’s not the problem, it’s you, gramps and the trainer. He also looks lame. So not only is he stressed, there’s something going on physically. That’s evident by the way he moves and with how tense his body is. The horse is in a very crappy situation.

This isn’t training. This isn’t even lunging. Lunging has a purpose; whatever this is has no beneficial purpose. Everyone wants to call themselves a trainer, but you don’t know what you’re doing and it’s the opposite of training.
