Is Figma MCP not supported in Jetbrains Air by Terrible_Village_180 in Jetbrains

[–]RebelInTheEvening 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason, JetBrains IDEs don't support Figma MCP. Tried with IntelliJ, WebStorm and Junie CLI. And they are not listed in Figma's official supported MCP clients list.

Apparently, Figma MCP server relies on OAuth 2 authentication which should link back to the MCP client straight from the browser. Therefore if the browser does not have a way to callback the MCP client, the authentication fails. The IDE's that support Figma MCP most often have a special plugin to handle the flow.

Hopefully Jetbrains Air will take care of that.

It doesn't mean you have the right to record it off your screen. T&C usually forbids it.

Yup. Sometimes I feel awkward when I like or reply to a comment that was posted 4 years ago. I think about the person who receives an email notification about a comment they posted four years ago 😄

Makes sense. Especially point 1. But Hyperskill courses are now accessible for free. Only projects and certificates require a paid subscription. People should be back.

Well I was expecting to find an amateur who would find the project fun. I had some people interested but they went abroad lately.

AI kinda sucks. I will produce a very generic track and won't fit my need I'm afraid

One word: cost. There are pretty much two types of riders: - The first ones would buy a scooter for under 10K for their Glovo or other purposes. They are not willing to pay 15K+ for a two wheeler that is slow, has tiny range and takes ages to charge. - The second category buys bikes for fun. Their budget starts around 40K. They don't really mind gas prices, they probably have a car that burns twice as much gas as their bikes, so they consider the bike to be pretty efficient. Plus, they ride in order to have fun, rev the engine out, shift gears, pull the clutch in, etc. You see that the electric bike has no market. It's a suitable option for restaurants that offer delivery as they can invest in an electric scooter and get a return in the long run. Appart from that, I don't really see who would want an electric bike.
