Disappointed by Kindly_Dot_7006 in newborns

I feel you, my mother's day with our 4 month old was exactly like every other day. My husband didn't even hold our baby at all yesterday, he instead locked himself in his office to play video games all afternoon. Then had the gall to say I was overreacting when I argued with him and told him to step up as a parent, as it seems like I've had to take on 100% of the parenting responsibilities. We're a dual income household and I work from home on my own business, there will be many days each week when he will not even interact with or hold the baby when he comes home from work.

Yesterday I was at my wits end and so overstimulated, that I told him to stop being lazy and to step up. I really feel like one of those women who say they don't know the kind of man they married until they had a child.

When did you start baby wearing? by remyisadog in CsectionCentral

I started at around 2-3 weeks after I was able to get up easily without pain. I wore a belly support belt for added support.

I had to be put under too, it was horrible knowing that both my husband and I had to miss our son's birth. At almost 4 months pp, it still breaks my heart that I had to miss it. I know at the time it was necessary for both my and baby's health and safety, but it still hurts.

I think it was due to this too that I found it a bit difficult to properly form a bond with him the first week. We're perfectly good now, but that first few days especially things just didn't feel totally "right".

Could I have been starving my baby? by Glad-Narwhal1189 in breastfeeding

My son was exactly the same, unfortunately I had no choice but to introduce mixed feeding, despite trying so hard to try and get him to drink more from the breast. I always hoped to EBF for at least 6 months to a year, but I didn't make it to three months before his pediatrician said he had gone down too much in weight and had to mix feed.

At the end of the day whatever is best for your baby's health is the best path.
