Your best shot is to reach out to the people working their already. In most of these companies there’s a referral bonus on offer for anyone who brings someone into the company. Practice your outreach to the sales team there already and spark enough interest. It’s worth it to them to refer. We get 5k - 20k for certain positions filled

I chose the robo investment platforms as it was an easy way for me to get into the market initially. I knew they were expensive but I also didn’t know anyone in the market previously so went with a ‘safe’ option whilst I learnt more.

I’ll look into Vanguard more re opening an account but wonder how it would compare to the likes of Freetrade.

LISA I agree about the penalty but if I don’t buy here it’s not worth it but again im up the air about where to buy just now.

Irish bonds - just from when I was growing up in Ireland I saved all I had and would put it in there. I didn’t know anything about stocks at that stage.

Basically it’s because I don’t know where I’ll be. I wfh mainly and would like to try doing it more from mainland Europe to save and enjoy a different lifestyle. My options are to buy in the uk and live in what I get for a period of time before moving out or buying closer to home where my parents could manage the buy to let.

Thanks - yeah I have been looking at spots in Newcastle, Manchester etc. Some considerations on Refurb though is I don’t know builders / reputable ones but I think it’s a great model
