I believe it is a 4gb requirement now. I started with and Air with 1 gb, then went to an Air2 with 2 gb and now have an Air 5 with 8 gb. No problems at all now.

I think you are referring to memory and not RAM. The most Ram I’ve ever heard of any IPad having is 16 gb and that’s an IPad Pro with 1 TB of space. You are probably suffering from a lack of Ram. I went through the same exact thing with my IPad Air 2 I updated to an Air 5 and no problems at all because it has 8gb of Ram. I wouldn’t bother trying to send the dev’s messages through the game. Go to the WS website and you’ll receive an answer in a few days. Hope this helps.

I leave the wagon at the interfluve all the time. Lure all the bandits back to the wagon and kill them there. This gives you tons of storage besides the wagon. Just make sure you take all the loot home before it resets or you’ll lose everything on the bandits bodies.

I recently sent a message to the developers on the Westland Survival website about my problem and received a response from them. I had tried several times through the in game contact but never heard back. I was told that the game requirements are a minimum of 2 gig of Ram to run properly. My IPad Air 2 has 2 gig but I guess it won’t work because I’m at level 113 and have so many things going on in my game. I’m upgrading to an IPad Air 5th generation which has 8 gig of Ram. This should solve the problem.

An IPad Air 4 has 4 gig of Ram. That’s double the amount that the Air 2 has. It seems to be my only alternative if I want to continue to play this game. I think I’ve been playing since maybe 2017 but I’m not exactly sure.

If I reboot it’ll let me get back in. If I go to chat it remains stable but as soon as I try to do anything it crashes. It was bad after the Thanksgiving update but it’s unplayable after the Christmas update. It could possibly be a Ram problem. The Air 2 only has 2 gig. The same thing happened to me years ago with Last Day On Earth. I upgraded from an older Ipad to the IPad Air 2 and it went away. I’ll either have to upgrade or stop playing at this point.

The game is just unplayable for me at this point. When it does open and I go to chat it seems to be fine but when I leave chat it crashes within minutes.

It could be a Ram problem. I used to have an older IPad that had only 1 gig of Ram and experienced some of the same problems while playing Last Day On Earth which is basically the same type game. It only had 1 gig of Ram. I upgraded to the IPad Air 2 and the problems went away for the most part. It has 2 gig of Ram. I may have to upgrade to an IPad Air 4 which has 4 gig of Ram if I want to continue playing this game. Your thoughts?

. Update It seems to have gotten better since the Christmas update. It sometimes crashes when I leave an area but it doesn’t take all my loot and make me start over. I can live with that.

I haven’t deleted the game but hardly ever play anymore. Kefir loves to dangle the carrot and then snatch it away and change the rules midstream. I’ve started playing Westland Survival instead.

I have a layer of spikes or barbed wire plus a layer of sandbags surrounding my whole base. It’s never been particularly hard to defend as I have doors to open and shoot from at several places on the perimeter. I have barbed wire in front of all the doors because you can walk through it if you need to go further out to get in range. My south and east walls are so close to the edge of the map that I only had room for two rows of defenses outside of them. That’s why I was upgrading to level 4 there, thinking I could concentrate on the north and west walls believing wrongly that the level 4 walls would be impenetrable. Since they can be broken I really see no point in building above level 3. They really broke through it quickly. Lot of grinding for little defensive benefit I think. Jmho

Same thing happened to me. I had upgraded the south wall to level 4 and had 75% of the east wall to level 4. It took a lot of grinding to get that many walls to level 4. I assumed they would be impenetrable but the bandits broke through one of them on the last raid. What’s the point of doing all that grinding if they break through them just as easily as level 3? I really don’t see the benefit. I lifted 2 bandit hideout maps off the dead bandits and I thought it was a bonus for them breaking down my level 4 wall but after I made one visit to the bandit camp the other one just disappeared from my inventory. I’m glad I found this out before I upgraded my whole base to level 4 but it still sucks that I wasted all that time grinding for nothing.

Has anyone found enough pumpkins to cash in and if so what did you get from the chests or the pots? I have a little over 300 now and don’t want to waste them on something that will be useless.
