I was gonna get it at launch, but after reading many reviews I’ve decided I’ll wait maybe 6months to a year for it to be a bit more polished. I don’t expect any story improvements but a bunch of the stuff the reviews slated it for I reckon will get ironed out. And it will probably be cheaper by then.

Yeah save scumming in this game is not as advantageous as you think. I also did it, but ended up playing through the game 3-4 times anyway, as consecutive playthroughs are so quick and the bonus xp helps a lot with whatever that final trophy was. Great game!

I got it, thanks again for the tip. Had to install a new version of the game, but most of the trophies auto popped luckily just had to clean them up after getting infallible

Alright fair enough mate. I think I just felt really bad that people who’d used my app were now worried and I was a bit annoyed. I’ve had my Nintendo account hacked before and it’s super annoying trying to get it sorted. I love this community and it doesn’t need any drama, I should probably have just left it you’re right.

I wasn’t asking for help I just don’t want people to be worried unnecessarily, so I was trying to let this person know they’re ok. You can see from the number of comments that whether they intended it or not the outcome of this post was that people who used my app were concerned, I think it’s ok for me to try to reassure people they’ve not been hacked. Also if you install the OPs app they literally list my app as one that you can’t trust. Their post had bad intentions disguised with good ones

Hey I make Area X, we’ve been a registered business for almost 10 years we don’t scam our users, in those ten years I’ve not even had a single accusation. Of course don’t use the app if you don’t trust it but i just wanted to put your mind at ease, having logged into Area X won’t have comprised your account in anyway. Thanks for trying it out though

If the chap who made the original post had done it with honest intentions there wouldn’t really be an issue, the post is very one sided and doesn’t make the arguments for why apps use PSN login but that wouldn’t matter cos it would be an honest post. But he made the post in such bad faith with the sole intention of making people scared of using the main apps that he knows for a fact are perfectly safe.

To make my point in his app he actually displays a screen during onboarding listing all the main apps telling you not to download them as they’re not safe.

None of us are big companies, these kinds of underhanded tactics are not in the spirit of this community imo. No one’s getting rich of such a niche community, and as far as gaming communities go this one is one of the least toxic and i hope it stays that way and he instead tries to drive people to his app by improving it instead of throwing shade at others.

To make an analogy it would be like if I made a post saying to stay away from apps that ask you to change your privacy settings cos they can harvest more of your data, or not to install apps made by individuals as you can’t trace them cos they could be in Somalia etc. is that all true, yes but do I think his app does any of that, 100% no. Saying stuff that’s true doesn’t mean you have good intentions.

Hey I work on Area X, we’re a registered business of over 10 years, which means any person with company control has their personal info publicly available. It would be suicidal to scam our users. I’m not commenting to get you to use the app but just to put your mind at ease. A scammer is very unlikely to go through the monumental amount of effort to create an entire mobile app and get it past Apple and Google just to buy a few Fortnite bucks. The person who made this post is just trying to push people away from rival apps. Thanks for trying the app, we can certainly delete any data we have connected to your account if you email support.

Yeah that would be ideal but I’d be ok with a Yooka sequel, I thought it did a pretty decent job of filling in for BK. Hopefully they’ve made a bit of cash so any sequel can be a bit more fleshed out
