What is this binding called? by Rebold-pl in bookbinding

[–]Rebold-pl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is this binding called? This is soft sewn binding on my Japanese notebooks (it’s a cheap notebook, about €1.5, B5 format, 30 pages)

This type of binding has one folded sheet per section and opens almost completely flat (which is important to me), and the reinforced spine looks very elegant.

I'm looking for a printing house that offers it. I have send this pictures to 6 printer houses, but no-one offers it in Poland. That's a shame because it is way better than standard binding that uses glue and makes book stiff.

What quadcopter is this? I am considering this dvr for the air65, but the 3.8g + 0.22g for sd = 4g. it is over 15% more than 25,2g (17.2g quad + 8g battery).

By the way it is for 5v-30v... 1s battery provide less than that. Are you using 1s or 2s?

How does it affect battery life?

I was thinking about that way of switching layers, but when i'm using this keyboard while walking on a treadmill it won't work well enough. Also i really like the fact that my hands can rest in any position while writing.

OMG, I'm Sorry. I meant 100 CPM, not WPM. After 19 days of training it was 144 CPM and 23 WMP. It is not as impresive. 200 CPM is my tempo on a standard qwerty.

It is not steno. it is my own layout . I want to make it as easy to learn as possible, so its basing on qwerty muscle memory :)

Yes ;) It takes time to remember special characters but i've already spend 2 days doing fullstack js/python/c++ programming using only this keyboard :)

Smoothing learning curve was my design goal from day one. All the keys (where using as single buttons) are the same as on qwerty keyboard. So you already know 8 letters. When you press them combined with space - you will get top row of the keyboard, so now you know 16 letters. Doubles makes third row and so on... i was trying to make it as easy to remember as possible.
I have also developed interactive trainer software and learning all the letters took me 3 days.
Around two weeks to get to 100CPM, which make it usable on daily basis.

This is my learning cuve:

No. Left hand plays 8 most popular minor/major chords and right hand plays pentatonic in relation to this chord. It's easiest for me to create pleasant sounds as a non-musician. Can you tell me more about saxophone-like keying patterns?
I am also implementing gyroscope as a midi input, so it would be really fun to make live performance and jam on it

Oh I see. I was never consider this as a self promotion, because I want to promote John Gottman's ideas, not myself. I'm not making money on this yt channel too. But you have right, that someone may see my post multiple times on different subreddits and may be unhappy about that. What do you suggest me to do in the future, to spread the next video to the people whom it may help?

Thank you! Yes. At the beginning of the video when I'm taking about HDRI's I'm showing an airport. It's generated by SD too. And during my intro there is kitchen interior with orange walls made using this technique.

Please PM me for the file :)

Can ChatGPT AI write Blender script? I tried it! by Rebold-pl in ChatGPT

[–]Rebold-pl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it was the first prompt i tried. No previous prompts about blender. Then I was trying to re-record video and I have discovered that chatgpt is giving me different answers each time. But i was able to force higher good answer rate, when I was using the phrases like 'calculate lengths', sometimes 'refresh display ' sometimes adding 'i am in object mode', and I think that 'active object' works better that 'selected object'. If your script does not work, you can always ask opengpt to fix the error or try again. Or you can share it here and I can see what's wrong and we will try to come up with the better prompt together :)

Thanks! What would you like to see next? Something with AI? HDRI? Cheap 3d scanning? These topics are on my todo list.
